Ordered brisket lunch meal, two little pieces of fatty brisket, slice of bread and green beans. Other order, dinner, dry pork... and fatty brisket with coleslaw and sweet potato fries. I went here for dinner with my 5 girls. Everything we had was delicious! Even baby approved! We had a kid?s macaroni and cheese... (not the Kraft kind), chicken, green beans, baked beans, garlic bread, pulled pork sandwich, and the super sweet corn. The staffwas nice, the restaurant was clean, and the food was prepared correctly and hot. Would definitely recommend and go back! Iordered my husband a 3 meat combo to go with the chicken, ribs and brisket and a side of bbq beans and potato salad. The onlything he did not like was the potato salad. On the road and stopped for the night. My daughter grub hubbed it for me, right to my room. Everything was great but the sauces... had a little funky after taste. All in all. Never expected good BBQ in Indiana. I just got back from visiting famous bbq places in Atlanta and Memphis (won't call out the... names...but you know who they are), and Bandanas is right up there (actually...better than most)! Smoked brisket, bbq beans,fried okra, and garlic bread, for only $9.99! (I ordered the small portion of brisket, but it was plenty.) I gave Bandana?s 5 stars for effort. On a totally slammed Monday night they were out of RIBS! Very kindly made up a yummy... platter of smoked chicken & pulled pork. Sides of simmered green beans and baked beans were more than adequate. The sweetpotato fries were shoestring thin and nicely crisped. Tried the fried catfish in cornmeal, and while not the best ever, it hitthe spot if your in the catfish mood. Moist inside and very crispy outside. If you want barbecue this is a refreshing stop with joyful employees and great slow cooked scrumptiousness . Even the sides were... fresh and the dining was simple and planned well. Brisket was moist with burnt tips and potato salad and creamy coleslaw, porkwas tender and baked beans were original and smokey tasting with a barbecue zing and an additional fried okra with barbecuedranch. We went for a quick, small meal, on the go. Ordered from the "budget buster" part of the menu. Smaller portion, smaller price. I... had the rib meal. Potato salad and deep fried okra was good.
