It is pretty inside but the food is bland and the server only came around 3 times. 15 minutes after we were seated and 45 min... later when the food arrived. And another 45 min later with the check. Read more

Do NOT judge from the outside, although I can see why you might. We took a chance and we were blown away. It was a very quaint... and nicely decorated restaurant. It had white linen tablecloths and napkins, nice music and everything was very clean. They hada nice wine list and we ordered some chardonnay as an appetizer....and then an actual appetizer. For the main fare we orderedbeef wellington and chicken caprese. The food was absolutely delicious! Chef Magdy came out and spoke with us. He was absolutelycharming!! He comped us free desserts, which were also delicious, and made us feel like we were eating with an old friend. Wedressed for the occasion, but it is not necessary at all. It's a very comfortable, fine dining experience. Give it a try. Read more

Magdy is a class act. He is so friendly, hilarious and personable. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, and clean. He treats you... like family and his staff is respectful. Now when it comes to the food, it is simply exquisite. One of the best I've evertasted. I had salmon with some shrimp added and some other alterations. Yes, he can do that too. It was so juicy and freshlycooked. I truly loved my experience here. I will definitely be back and excited to try something new on the menu. Read more

Omg! What a find! We were just in Terre Haute for the night and found good reviews for Magdy's so we decided to drop in for... dinner. This was the best meal we've had in the past year. Magdy, who PERSONALLY came to our table to ask how everything was,is an artist with food. The presentation was lovely but oh, the flavors! It was a party in my mouth! My husband ordered theclam chowder to start but the waiter said unfortunately it was gone for the evening. But Magdy said he'd make some for myhusband! We thought the best clam chowder we'd ever had was in Rhode Island but this was incredible. So many wonderfulflavors combined to make such a delightful chowder. The entrees we selected were seared yellowfin tuna and my husband had thered snapper with crabmeat in a creamy sauce. The tuna was just very lightly seared with an incredible sauce. Just a hint ofWasabiin the sauce that said let the party begin! The red snapper with crab was cooked to perfection. It was light and flakyand melted in my mouth. It's rare that I will finish a whole restaurant meal but I couldn't stop eating! Magdy truly is anartist with flavors. Oh, and save room for dessert. Magdy makes homemade baklava and tiramisu. More deliciousness! Was thisplace heaven? No but I think I caught a glimpse of it from our table. Read more

We had an amazing time and we enjoyed the food and appreciated the whole experience. Our dinner started with complementary bread... and butter. After that, we had a salad with a delicious dressing. Our main course was a dish of quail in special wild mushroomssauce, a dish of a rack of lamb which I highly recommended, a dish of snapper with homemade cajun spice, and the venison on thecherry port sauce. For dessert, we had this delicious tiramisu. Magdy the owner is a very skilled chef and a friendly welcomingperson. This place is one of the best places for me. We found this special place on our way back from Michigan to Texas. We were hungry and googled restaurants. They welcomed us... with open arms. We had a great time and found a new regular stop while we are in town. The portions were perfect, the flavorswere genuine and fresh. The food melted in your mouth. The chef, Mr Magdy, was such a delightful host and was full of cheer andtalent. This will be something we talk about and remember for awhile. We truly can?t wait to stop by again. Read more

This place is a hidden gem. The food was excellent and the staff was extremely friendly. The chef comes out and talks with the... diners and checks up on you. We had the beef wellington and it was so flavorful. We will be back again for sure!! Read more
