I came in the other day and was immediately greeted by the sweetest host ever. Her name is Trinity and she truly went above and... beyond to make me feel welcomed. From what it looked like she seems to be the only host there and the way she works they reallydon?t need another one. I hope she gets a raise for how absolutely outstanding of a worker she is!! I was very disappointed in this establishment. Our waitress was great and did her very best. It was the filthy and dilapidated... state of thier restrooms. I was informed by the staff that the urinals hadn't worked for a year. There was filth everywhere. Thefloors in the stalls where puddles of feces to be readily tracked out to the dinning area. The sinks barely worked, and wherefilthy. Not to mention the foul smell that didn't just stay in the restrooms but permeated out in to the dinning area, so thatyou enjoyed the lively smell of urine with your meal. I'd like to say it was just a busy evening and the wait staff just hadn'tgotten to the restrooms yet, but it was clear that this had been the deplorable state for quite sometime. After havingexperienced this disgusting room. I and a few other patrons leaving the restroom where informed by staff that the employeerestroom was even worse. I do not envy the staff. Read more
Called ahead. Got here. Told they were waiting for a waiter but had the table. Understandable. About 25 minutes later if... still waiting, we asked the hostess on how much longer. Apparently the manager gave the table to someone else and we weren?ttold. We waited an additional 25 minutes. Got our table. No drinks or bread for another 10 minutes. Finally ordered. Took them over an hour to get our food. Half the food was cold and clearly under a heat lamp. Manager was combative whendiscussing our frustrations with service. Nearby tables were constantly waited on. We had to keep asking for refills andsuch. After we got our food, waitress completely disappeared. They cannot use covid excuse as I saw pre pandemic staffinglevels. At least in the front of the house. Still waiting for the check as I write this. Edit: Apparently it shows we gotfood a half hour after we ordered on their system. So clearly someone forgot to put our order in. We ordered at 7:12PM, fooddidn?t get to our table until after 8:20. We arrived on a Saturday and expected a decent wait but were super excited to hear that the "Bar Section" was open and we could... seat ourselves. Upon arriving in the bar area, there were multiple empty tables covered in food & dirty, while being ignored bythe multiple waitresses wandering back and forth. Girlfriend and I waited patiently in front of a table as the lady hadinformed us to, while trying to get the attention of staff as they continued to walk by and ignore us. After about 10 minutes,I walked back up front and asked for help, being informed that the tables would be cleaned off for us. We walked back to theBar Area and awkwardly stood in front of a table, still ignored. I finally got the attention of a waitress and asked if she'dlike, I could just clean everything off of the table...I just didn't want to touch the previous customer's receipt, in casethere was money in there. She gave me a dirty look, didn't say a word and just walked off. After another 10 minutes, we turnedaround and left. I can't really review the food (since I didn't get the chance to try it), I can only speak for the experience. From all of the leftovers on the tables, it did "look" good, though. lol Read more
We had way to much to eat that when our meals came we realized we could eat for days on our meals! Food was very good next time... we will do light seasoning as it's a bit spicy for us, the adult beverages we to die for mine was the Wallaby darned, didn'teven taste the alcohol!!! Very yummy! We had a blooming onion and ahi tuna appetizer. Both were absolutely amazing. First time I've ever had ahi tuna and I was blown... away. For our entrees we had a blooming burger and a Toowoomba topped salmon dinner. Service was fantastic and so was our meal???? Read more
So, the service was outstanding. Definitely no problem there. It's just, the food really wasn't all that great. Especially for... the price. And a tea or soft drink is $3. Insane. Everything was well prepared, but the taste just wasn't there for me. My wifealso wasn't impressed. Ive never been to any other Outback than this one, and this one honestly ruined it for me.
