Even shikssas get the blues: Great comfort food on a rainy day for me. It's unusual to find a kosher deli even in a large city.... I had Lithuanian Cabbage soup with really tasty rye bread. Possibly, dare I say, better than Bubbe's It's an international menuwith vegan choices. So happy they are here Read more

I ordered the Dagwood and the Don ????. There was no six meats on the sandwich on the Don or 5 meats on the Dagwood. As written... on the menu. All I got was ham which was in bits and pieces on both sandwiches. I ordered a side of Cole slaw, which tasted asif pepper was added to it. Very disappointing. And I was charged $30.00 for this! I could have done if I went to Subway. Read more

Feels like family when your there. I didn’t have a chance to load a picture of the food. I was too hungry and that Pastrami... sandwich didn’t stand a chance after the first bite. This place gets five stars for taste and friendliness. ?? Read more

Absolutely delicious! My partner and I were so thrilled to find this place while traveling. As vegans, it can be tough to find... good food while traveling, but Oy Vey blew out minds. Both the baked goods and entrees were amazing and the staff was veryfriendly. We will definitely be back every time we pass through the area. Highly recommended for vegans and non-vegans. Read more

Came here for dinner with our dairy free toddler. First plus, they are kosher so no dairy in the facility at all so we weren’t... afraid of cross contamination. Second- we ordered a small chicken noodle for him since they didn’t have a dedicated kids menu.but instead the gave us a toddlers heaven of noodles, fruit and veggies. My kid INHALED every bit of it and the chicken noodleswere amazing. Staff was super friendly as well! Read more

We travel all over and this is hands down some of the finest falafel in the continental US. The curry is also sublime. The... Turkish coffee warms your heart and lifts your spirit. The south African sweet potato stew is a symphony of flavor, wellorchestrated with spices you can taste have been allowed to ripen over time. If you are looking for hearty and ACTUALLY goodvegan/vegetarian food that tastes like real food cooked and prepared by loving hands, please don't hesitate to stop by for alittle slice of the sublime in Indiana. Oh, and if you are offered a slice of homemade iced apple pie with homemade whippedcream on the side... Even if you are already overstuffed from the oversized portions, don't deny yourself the pleasure. (Funfact, I wasn't told the homemade whipped cream was vegan until after the fact... And I would have never guessed- THAT'S how goodthis place is!) And the real icing on the cake is that these are real good people here. Chavah, or "mama" as she is called byher children who work with her in this family run establishment, is like a beacon of good on this earth. A Ray of sunshine inwhat can feel like a sea of despondency. For authentic Jewish food in the Midwest and some cheer and love heaped on the side, come to Oy Vey! Read more
