I usually don?t crave Mexican cuisine if I?m not outside my home state but once and a while there are exceptions! Luckily when... researching a place, Taco Tequila?s was right near my hotel with a brisk walk. Taco Tequila isn?t entirely a huge restaurant,but they do draw in a decent crowd so if you are a bigger party you might have to wait. Arriving, I was seated almost promptlyand was given a menu, water, and chips with dip to start. I wouldn?t say I?ve tried everything but everything I?ve tried hasbeen quite enjoyable. The tacos are double the tortilla with nicely marinated meats, the fajitas are sizzling hot andfulfilling, and the fried Mexican ice cream packs a crunch! The people are nice, and the atmosphere isn?t stuffy, something Ipersonally enjoy in a smaller space. They do serve alcohol with a variety. I usually get a whiskey, but I have tried theirmargaritas and pina coladas which are good too, just don?t give yourself a brain freeze! I?ve already been here more than onceand when I?m in town I?ll probably come back for a quick taco fix. If you?re from the area you?ve most likely have tried it butif you haven?t, give it a shot!
