Everything about this place is great! We happened to come on a very busy night and they were upfront that they were already... understaffed. Despite that, the servers were absolutely wonderful and continued to make sure our experience was positive. Thefood and drinks are so good too! And it?s so cute! Will definitely be back again. If you want to get mistreated by a bearded hipster man-child, this is your spot! We showed up to a half empty restaurant at 3:30... to be greeted by a guy yelling something about a 30 min wait from behind the bar. We were pretty confused and after 10 minutesof standing (again, half empty place) we approached the guy again who told us he was too busy and even talking to us was a wasteof precious time. No apologies, just plain rude. Oregon is amazing and we had only wonderful experiences, except for this place.Honestly, just go somewhere else * Edit after owner reply - Being short staffed is not a reason to be rude. Complaining thatsomeone reacts to you being rude is just plain disingenuous. Sorry you feel that way is not an apology. I understand you had abad day but taking 10 seconds to greet your customers instead of yelling behind a bar is common business practice. Offering yourcustomers a clear explanation of what to expect (even if it means you don't have room) is common business practice. Offeringyour customer to have a seat while they wait is common business practice. Read more

This was my first time at the Depot. Staff was friendly and efficient. Food was good. Menu is moderately priced, though a bit... limited. The only issue we had, that wasn't customer friendly, was their policy of no split checks. There were 8 of us, in 4couples. None of us brought enough cash, nor did we all know each other real well. Turned out that one person had to pay withtheir credit card and now we all have to arrange a way to pay them back. It made it very awkward and we did consider goingelsewhere. I'm glad we stayed because we had a nice meal overlooking the awesome Smith Rock and Cascade Mountains. Not surewe'll be back because there's so many wonderful places in the area that are more accommodating to the customers needs. Read more

We love this place and were really excited to "rediscover" it. I got the Chicken Bahn Mi and it was fabulous. In fact we came... back a couple of weeks later and although I was excited to try all the things on the menu, I decided to go back to the sameorder because it was so fabulous the first time. It did not disappoint. For a side, I got the chips and salsa and even they wereamazing. The thing I like most is that it is so flavorful and fresh tasting. As a foodie, I'm often disappointed when eatingout, because a lot of food just doesn't seem to have much flavor these days. But not here. Everything we have ever ordered fromhere has been full of vibrant flavors. Its definitely on "date night" rotation. It's also really nice because Redmond isgetting kinda ridiculous for trying to find a table on Friday and Saturday nights, but at the Terrebonne Depot we are alwaysseated, are waited on and even receive our food and drinks really quickly. If you are looking for a low key, chill environmentwith amazing food, I can't recommend it enough. Read more

The quaint ambiance of an old train station hosts a selection of pub and dining options. A shaded table on the deck along the... tracks provided a spectacular view of the mountains in the distance. It was the perfect setting for an outdoor, fresh air stopafter a challenging hike at Smith Rock State Park. Good food and local brews were what we sought, and happily found. I couldn?thave been more pleased?.a featured item on the menu was the Pork Belly Lettuce Wraps. And when I ordered it, the waiter smiledand stated it was his favorite item on the menu. Freshly made-in-house pork belly, seasoned and seared to perfection. Adornedwith a selection of build-it-yourself ingredients. Chopped Cilantro, pickled jalapeños, razor thin cucumber slices, lightlysalted cashews, hoisin sauce and baby romaine leaves for wrapping. Our waiter suggested a small squeeze of lime into the hoisinto perk up the flavor. A very flavorful lunch, accompanied by a pint of the Blonde Bombshell and it was perfection. The servicewas very Oregon-forward with politeness, and a detailed knowledge of the brews and culinary offerings. Our waiter was sofriendly and welcoming when we arrived, and when we left his parting words were ?It?s been a pleasure and an honor!? It can?tget more Oregonian than that! 5 Stars for an all around delightful culinary experience. Read more
