Habit burger is probably the better fast food burger joint compared to all the others. Sometimes they salt their fries and... sides too much and the burger itself is too salty so try not to go close to closing. They have the best burgers in town. Clean place. Staff was polite. The bathroom can use some cleaning though. Outdoor seating is... also available. Parking here is free and abundant. I really was in the mood for a thick, juicy (juices running down your arm kinda juicy) burger and this definitely didn't fit the... bill. That's not to say that the burger was bad - it just wasn't quite what I was looking for. However, the fried green beanswith chipotle sauce were AMAZING. Great variety of burgers. You can't go wrong with whatever you order. I had the Santa Barbra Double Char on Sourdough Bread. ... Could not have asked for a better burger for a first time order. Also had FF and they were crispy and held up to the ride backto the office. Have been back twice since our initial order and stick by my original statement that you just can't go wrongwith whatever you order. And you can't beat the price either. This was my first visit to a Habit Grill. I ordered takeout. The dining area was clean, the slightly "surfy" decor was "right".... I ordered a Teriyaki Burger, onion rings and a chocolate shake. I nibbled on the rings as I drove back to my hotel. They weregood, a little crispy, but well into the ballpark for onion rings. I got to my room and unwrapped the Teriyaki Burger. My firstimpression was underwhelming: stuck to the bun, on the outside of the burger, were a few stray pieces of wilted lettuce. Not agood first impression. Noshing away, it was hard to tell what was so "teriyaki" about this sandwich. And as I ate, the burgermorphed into a wet mass of bread, pickle and tomato slices surrounding the patty. I had to rinse my fingers off in the sinkhalfway through my meal, and afterwards as well. If I get back to The Habit, I'll update this review. UPDATE: they convincedme to give them another try. I went back for a Portabella Char (Onion rings again). The burger was much better wrapped and noodd lettuce outside the bun. I did get the Portabella flavor, and the bun stayed in one piece to hold all the goodies. Thistime I took pictures of the Portabella burger. Read more
Good veggie burger option. I like the way they make it. But I wish there was no charge for extra veggies like mushrooms ,... lettuce, and so!! Because being a vegetarian, we have only limited options, I don't eat meat, fish, or eggs, etc, so veggiesshould be free of cost on adding some extra . Hope corporate understands that!! Thank you.
