I ordered my food for delivery. The delivery was quick thru Doordash. However, the food was cold, falafewas hard and appeared... burned. The rice and chicken didn?t have any flavor and the hummus looked like complete mush. The hummus did not have anyseasoning and it appeared/taste like it was in the refrigerator for months. First and last time I ever come to Halal Guys. I was so excited to go but ended up being very disappointed. My friend?s gyro was... drenched in white sauce. He only ate it because he was hungry. RIDICULOUS!!! Being from NY, I was excited for Halal guys to be accessible in jersey. If I said this experience was exactly like the carts, I... would be lying. However, the flavors are there and the food was clean and delicious like the ones on 53rd and 6th. Thestorefront is also very clean. Staff was very friendly. It?s a different experience than NY.
