This was my first time eating at this restaurant. In my opinion it took too long to be seated but I know places are struggling... with staff so i was understanding. Only I & one other customer was waiting. The entrance smelled like a restroom on the way in& out. I actually used the restroom & it smelled nice so I'm not sure what the smell was. My waitress was fantastic as were myfajita nachos... delicious! But as I sat and waited for my food, I looked up and all around the ding room and noticed howdirty/dusty it was in this area. The ceiling vents & other overhead fixtures, the wall decor, & even the dust on the windowledges was visible. Even though th food was great I can't eat somewhere that slacks in their housekeeping. It's not a healthyenvironment. My thinking is, if it's in this condition in the front where customers can see, I can only imagine it's worse inthe back where we can't. I hate giving negative reviews but I know this restaurant can do better & hope that they read thisreview & take action. If so, I will definitely visit again for the delicious nachos. Read more

I was excited to eat here as it had been years since I had been. I got a chicken bowl and I just wasn't a fan. My kiddos didn't... seem to like their food either. Service was good although our waitress seemed really busy and it took a little time. Read more

So, today I ordered the grande fajita nachos for me and my baby. I asked the lady to also add queso cheese, which she charged me... an extra $2 for. I get home, and I have a single pan with about six tortilla chips in it with queso smothered in just the 6chips. Then, there's a bag of plain tortilla chips in a plastic bag with a small container of salsa. I called to try tounderstand how what I paid for was worth almost $20. The Chips and Queso was white cheese. Very good. Gave it a different taste. Would have it again. Ordered the Chorizo Spicy... pizza. Got the chicken pizza. Had the Perfect Patron Margarita with a 2nd shot of Patron. Very very good!!! Read more

The atmosphere and my waitress was great. The food came quick and the waitress never let our drinks run low. The reason for the... 3 star is the food. See the pics attached. The chili renano I ordered was the smallest I had ever seen. Not a big deal as therest of the plate was plenty of food. This was a basic cheese filled pepper. The first one was delivered and the cheese wasmelted inside so I asked our waitress to see about another one. She put the order in and another was delivered pretty quickly.The second one was almost burnt on the outside but again the inside wasn't melted. 1 star because I wasted $20 on the most ridiculous "Birria Tacos" ordering on UberEats today. They were not even SEASONED. The... consommé container was about 1/4 full, and had no seasoning or meat in it, I couldn't even dip the taco and saturate it. I didcall the restaurant and spoke with a manager named David, he did his best and reached out to UberEats, but ultimately UberEatsrefused to refund me even with proof of an order issue. 2 stars for David for trying, but my 1 star stands. On The Border inTexarkana constantly FAILS on To Go orders. This is not my first issue, I'm sick of it. If you're ordering "to go" may the oddsbe ever in your favor. Read more

(4pm Saturday) 3.5 stars Service was fast. My enchiladas, rice, and beans were good; my husband's steak was overcooked. Had to... ask for refill, first set of silverware we received was dirty, light above our table was out--so it was a little too dark, andrestrooms needed attention. Read more

If I could give this place a ZERO we would!! Absolutely HORRIBLE experience!! Our order for 3 adults was placed prior to others... being seated. We received our orders AFTER other patrons arrived AFTER US. All of our orders was COLD once received. Therestaurant wasn't any where near busy. It was a Sunday night at 10:07 pm and they close at 11pm. We requested a manager. Themanager came to the table which also happened to be the person who delivered the cold entrees. We informed Fern (the Manager)about our issues with the food and he said he can take it back and "reheat it". We didn't go to that restaurant to wait 30 minsplus for cold entrées. He did not apologize, nor make any accommodations for the inconvenience. Who wants reheated food. He eemappeared delighted or happy with our issues with his sarcasm and grin.
