What a bunch of incompetents! I ordered a dinner order for my wife , myself, and my 2 grandchildren. When I got home, I found... that they had left out my large order of Onion Rings. I looked up their number and called immediately to inform them of theomission. I was told, "I'm so sorry sir, but we are out of onion rings. If you come back, we'll give you your choice of a largefry or large tots." I replied, "I don't want fries or tots, if I had I would've ordered them. How about a refund?" "We can't dothat sir." "So I am stuck with the option of driving back 3 miles each way in the rain, to pick up something I don't want." "Yessir. That's all I can do." Never again will I place an order with the Sonic on Summerhill Road. It's bad enough when they getthe order wrong 75% of the time when I place it in person on their little squawk boxes, but when it is all written down for themand I still end up on the short end. I get really angr I am signing my name to this in the hope that the owner of this lousyexcuse for a restaurant will contact me to make it right, but I won't hold my breath waiting for that call. Order wrong EVERY time. Not even just slightly wrong? everything in the order is incorrect EVERY time and I?ve only been here 3... times total. It?s crazy how terrible this location is and they continue to do nothing about it. I don?t even live here andevery time I?ve stopped while at St Michael?s they have gotten my order wrong. I waited an hour once for them to fix it andthis last time it was 45 minute AND I ordered on the app!!!! Summerhill sonic deserves way less than one star. I ordered drinks via online and I checked in at the stall and after checking... in we waited for 10 minutes then I pushed the red button and five minutes later still no answer. I understand being understaffedand waiting if that was the case but waiting that long for two drinks is ridiculous. Might as well visit the gas station nextdoor for a drink and decent service . Avoid this place! The person taking orders on 8/16 was so confused. The app didn?t let us check in. The girl couldn?t find our... order. Waited 10 minutes then pushed the red button again because she never came back over the intercom to let us know she stillcouldn?t find our order. She should have asked us what we ordered, that may have helped her figure it out. She couldn?tunderstand the name we gave her. We even showed her the order on our app. She still looked puzzled. What was so frustrating isshe didn?t sound professional at all. In fact, she sounded very stupid and not interested in helping-what a way to frustrateyour customers! Tip-try telling a customer ?let me get my supervisor to help figure this out.? That would have been so muchbetter! Read more

My breakfast all meat burrito had more grease then meats. They truly did not fix the burrito correctly because the only place... this burrito went was straight in the trash. I will never have breakfast at this place ever again no matter how hungry I maybe.I will make sure to go home & cook my on breakfast then therefore if anything goes wrong then I can only blame myself. I will start by saying the other locations in Texarkana are great. This sonic deserves less than 1 star. We placed an order... through the app and pulled in to pick it up about 5 minutes later. My wife clicked check in. The app gave her an error and wouldnot let her complete the check in. We did the next reasonable thing and pressed the red button for help. We gave the lady ourname she said "we will be right with you". 25 minutes pass. We press the red button again, and wait for 10 minutes for aresponse. It was almost like no one was working. They finally figure it out and bring us the food. We ask for a corporatenumber. The lady we talked to, and their STORE MANAGER tried to turn this around on us and say that our wait was our faultbecause we didn't check in on the app. Please recall our app gave us an error and this was the entire reason for contacting themin the first place. Next they tell us we can't give you the corporate number. Yes you can Google it, but sometimes they can givea more specific number to cut through the automated stuff. I understand people in fast food have a tough time with certaincustomers complaining about ridiculous stuff, but if your technology stops working for any reason it is not that difficult tofigure out how to send an order out. This manager does not need to be managing a restaurant if he does not understand this fact.I vote with my dollar. I will not be returning here. Customer service is dead at this location. EDIT: the response below fromthe sonic team takes you to the automated help line. I called that number on the day of our order. They claim the complaint willbe escalated to management or the local franchise owner. I get the impression that the franchise owner does not care about theissue, I have had no other replies except automated responses. Read more

Same problem, different location. It was difficult to find a station that was operational. The order taker was less than... welcoming. However, my order was delivered within a reasonable time period. I didn't realize the condiment I specificallyrequested had been omitted at the time of delivery, but I was able to get it. I watched as three other customers searched forworking stations. Two left, but one opted to place their order at the drive through. This may account for the reason that thedrive through was backed up. Thank goodness my food and drink order was good or I would boycott Sonics everywhere. Read more
