Pizza was good .... went on a Wednesday which was an open mic night . Ummm very very tiny spot , I mean it's the Bronx ....... everyone was smoking weed , alot of cross dressers , high heels and all lol . Home girl preformed , had a decent night . Littleover crowded , train theme outdoor seating was cool , except for the dudes standing all over the seats and swinging from thebars .... It is sad to say this place was a real disappointment. I love finding local coffee shops to support and was looking forward to... my visit, but this was a terrible experience. To start off when I walked in nobody greeted me. I stood in front of the cashregister for about 5 minutes and the two people behind the counter continued to talk. Another customer walks in and gets servedimmediately. The employee sees me waiting and does not acknowledge me at all, and continues serving the other customer. Onceshe?s done with the customer she does not apologize and takes my order. I ordered iced coffee which I received totally watereddown with barely any ice. I also ordered an egg sandwich that they apparently forgot to make. I waited about 15 minutes andstill wasn?t served. When I finally asked about it, she looked annoyed and did not apologize at all for the wait or forgettingmy order. Waited another 10 mins to get my sandwich. Overall, this experience was terrible. It seems like they attend regularcustomers much better than new ones. I hope they do better than this. I will not be returning here. Read more

Absolutely fantastic space run by good humans; we saw they were having a special event w a legendary graffiti artist the first... night we were coming into town. Got there a little late but the owner and staff made us feel right at home and made sure ourkids came outside and met the artist, listened to him talk about his work. Also the food was great -- especially the panini andwings -- and drinks outstanding But really .. stop here for the vibe.. the humans.. the food .. and being part of the goodnessthey are brining to the Bronx Read more

I have been a consistent customer to this cafe for the last 4 years and I love everything that it stands for, it is truly an... example of how to give back to a community this is in such a high need! Last week on Monday (7/11) I visited the cafe with acolleague who is also an avid customer and when we left she stated "I feel like I am always paying extra when she (the femaleshift manager or staff member who orders the inventory) makes my coffee. We both paid $7 + change for small iced lattes withflavor. Today I purchased the same iced latte with caramel for $5 + change. I am okay with paying $7 or $5 I would just like topay the same price every time. The hours of the cafe show that they open at 7am. Wednesday Morning (7/13), I drove by the cafeat 7:07 am and the gates were down so I ordered coffee to my job. My next visit was Wednesday afternoon of the same day. It wasa busy lunch hour, I waited about 15 minutes to order my iced latte all while being next online. I am aware of the foodpreparation taking a long time, as it is a small space. I left with my coffee 20 minutes later after waiting patiently eventhough I spent the majority of my break in the cafe, I was still very understanding with no apology or acknowledgement of meeven waiting that long. (This is not the experience that has forced me to write this lengthy review.) The experience that Ihad the next day and this morning is where I draw my line and am choosing to no longer be a customer of this cafe. Thursdaymorning I got to Hunts point at 7:12am, the gate to the cafe was still down but the gate to the door was open (while the doorwas still locked I was able to see the same lady- shift manager inside). I knocked and when she saw me she gave me the closedsignal with her hand. After realizing that she was not going to open the door and or even walk over to the door, I asked herback in sign language how much time? She signaled back with her hands "15 minutes" By holding up her 5 fingers and ope Read more

Wow, this localy owned place is the definition of community love and a safe place for all offering amazing coffee and fresh... pastries ( croissants are delicious) and other food options ( must try their breakfast sandwich $5ish) omelettes, waffles and soon . They also have summer frozen cocktails. The prices are lower than other places around NYC and very affordable! On top ofbeing a cafe they hold poetry nights open to local artists to express themselves and share their art, have local vendors selltheir products and just a safe space for the community. We kept coming back for our coffee fix and some breakfast bite. I highlyrecommend this place!! Read more
