Had the pleasure of finding tis GEM of a spot in Bronx near Hunts point. SURPRISE SURPRISE..yes, there is a great restaurant... for Spanish food there an there is ample parking. I cannot stop dreaming about their black beans, Simple yes, but addictive!The restaurant has plenty of space, and great service. I sat at the bar, and I watched patron after patron enjoy themselveslike they were family. And that is when it clicked, the owner makes everyone FEEL like they are her family and you are sittingat her table. The best is the food. ABSOLUTELY the recipes you remember as a child being the best. Well you don't have todream anymore of childhood favorites. Very racist.They did not want to let me in because I wasnt their kind.I was fine with that until the owner let a Spanish guy in... off the street who came 20 minutes after me and told the bouncer in Spanish not to let me in!!
