The Customer Service Here is Awful. This is Not the First Time I?ve Been Unsatisfied with Skyview, but This Last Experience Was... the Worst. So Much of the Food on the Shelves is Expired or Covered in Dust...You Wait 10+ Minutes for a Sandwich Even When It?sSlow, The Health Practices of the Cook Are Sub Par, No Gloves and Scratching Face, and Finally My Order Was PreparedIncorrectly. I Asked for Pepper Jack Cheese and Was Served Slimy, Processed American Cheese. I Called Back to Have My SandwichRemade and The Irate Clerk Told Me It?d Be 20 Minutes. Phenomenal! What an absolute hidden gem. Very vegan-friendly and it?s not even advertised that way. Go anywhere in Manhattan and... the juice is pre-made, bottled, and sitting for a day or three; here, the smoothies and juices are made right in front of you.There?s a great variety of drinks, certainly enough for any taste. There?s a bunch of typical diner food, but at prices nearly1/2 or 1/3 of what you would pay elsewhere. They even have a veggie burger! I cannot speak highly enough of this spot. Read more
We ordered a breakfast with delivery. My waffle was simple with a few blueberries. I wasn't impressed. Nothing out of... special. My husband had omelette and sandwich with egg and cheese. But egg and cheese disappeared, so there was onlybread! Compare to any Diner the dishes were not enough hearty. Definitely will NOT come back. Read more
Price and customer service plays a big role in how people view an establishment, and Skyview has both in amazing ranges. The... amount of kindness the workers have, as well as the price of the amazing food, make this a gem in the neighborhood. Now that itis working with the nearby College, it?s more welcoming to students who want a change from the overpriced cafeteria food, and tothe warm food and greetings Skyview offers. This is an average NYC deli. It was much needed in this part of Riverdale.
Ive come here a few times and honestly its not worth it. Go to Yohans Deli. This place is OVER PRICEDDDDD. 6$ for a BLT ?? Is... this Manhattan. What is in a BLT for it to cost 6$? I can get a whole cheese burger DELUXE for that money. And honestly theirfruit is not fresh, and their salads stay in the fridge probably for a few days. Please. Six dollars for a BLT. Read more
