Awesome lunch today at Calles de Mexico. I had chorizo tacos. I thought this would be a good baseline test, and they passed.... They were really really good. Tortilla, chorizo, onions, cilantro...that's it, and that's all it needs. OK, salsa too...ofcourse. I also had the birria tacos. This was a new dish for me. This was also great. It's a generous amount of meat in a friedtortilla, and then you dip it in the birra. Boom! Muy rico! It's counter service, and they were very friendly. They even put upwith my minimal (and bad) Spanish. I was expecting more of a dive/hole-in-the-wall type place. It's in a little strip centernext to an Exxon. I have no problem with that, as I go to places like that all the time. But this was nicer than expected. It'sa nice clean place with tables, booths, full bar, etc. It's not the Mi Cocina power lunch crowd (I like those type places too),but it's very casual with some atmosphere and charm. I shall return. It was a good sized chicken burrito. I poured the green sauce on for some added spice. It wasn't hot but the flavor was good.... The chicken was seasoned well. I don't care for my beans and rice in my burrito but it's a learning curve. The service was goodand the food was delivered promptly. Read more

Calles De Mexico is the perfect place to get authentic Tex Mex food for any occasion. I love the chicken tacos which comes with... four tacos loaded with meat. The prices are reasonable seeing how much you get for the price. You will not be disappointed withthe speed of service and quality of food that is consistent at the place. Read more

They make such good birria tacos with consommé. I'm in love. In each taco, you'll find a delicious layer of cheese and tender... shredded beef. Before you dunk the taco in the consommé, top it with onions, cilantro, and salsa for the perfect bite!Additionally, for now, it's BYOB. I think they will have a full bar again. Read more

First time trying this restaurant out today. It’s “Taco Tuesday” so why not. I had 3 barbacoa tacos, 1 chicken taco with... rice and beans. First bite into chicken street taco and I was like, “Oh yes this is delicious”. So I had no doubt thebarbacoa ones would be just as delicious. I was right they were. The food was really good. My kids enjoyed it as much as the adults did. The price for what we got was good too. I had... tortilla soup a day tacos.
