First of all, thanks for opening an Indian restaurant in our neighborhood. One thing that I want to highlight here is: the... restaurant offers cold drinks, mango lassi, all-inclusive at the buffet price.\n\nLet me come to the main topic, food qualityand taste - both were at their worst. The best items I like are onion bhaji and chicken gravy; otherwise, none of your food hasany taste or quality. For example, gulab jamun - haldiram gulab jamun is better than the one you serve at your restaurant. Sameabout your chat items - do you guys even know the ingredients of chat items? I am not sure. When I am paying $20 for a buffet, Iexpect good food.\n\nPeople don?t want too many items, 2-3 items are enough. We come to restaurants to eat good food and enjoytime. Worst food i have ever had in recent time. Read more

I was excited to have seen this place knowing it?s in my neighborhood but unfortunately Icouldn?t even eat the food after craving Indian food all day long. Read more

Tried India 101 Express last week for the first time and returned again last night because it was so good. The drive-thru is a... huge plus and the service is surprising fast for how fresh everything tastes. Portion sizes are great and I\'ve enjoyed everydish I\'ve tried so far (paneer tikka masala, butter chicken, chicken briyani and samosa). Read more

OMG!!!! Heaven on earth! I JUST finished my food and I did not make it home! I devoured it in the car. The butter chicken and... Korma were fantastic! The garlic naan is the best I?ve EVER had a I eat a ton of Indian food. Chef kiss for the samosas.\n\nTheestablishment is clean and the 2 young ladies were friendly. I Will be back . Please patron this business and check it out. Read more

Flavor was excellent, but pricey for such small portions. There are supposed to be 2 entrees but you can even count the number... of chicken and paneer pieces ???? Read more

I am changing my previous review. Last time we enjoyed the food. This time the food was absolutely the worst indian food I\'ve... ever had. The butter chicken was decent, the chicken masala had no flavor and the curry sauce was liquid like soup. The biryanihad a smell like it had gone bad and we had to throw it away to avoid food poisoning. The chicken chili was sweet and thats notwhy people order chicken CHILI. It felt like it was a wannabe version of orange chicken or something but very disappointed ofthe sweet taste. The two stars is for the good staff service and coming up with a good idea with combos and drive thru. But theydefinetly need to change the chef!!! Read more

Drive-thru Indian food was never something I thought I needed in my life, until now. Tried India 101 Xpress and it did not... disappoint! Very quick and friendly service with pre-prepared food that still tasted fresh. I ordered online, but it\'s probablyjust as simple to go through the drive-thru (entrance behind the building on Plano Pkwy side).\n\nTried Combo #2 with palakpaneer and panner tiki masala, which comes with BOTH naan and rice of your choice. The portions were very generous, especiallyfor the price. The veggie samosas were delicious but only came with the herb (cilantro/mint) chutney and no tamarind - my go-towhen restaurants offer both.\n\nEverything was nicely wrapped for the to-go order and the bag even included breath freshener youwould find at a dine-in restaurant. Also, the mango lassi was perfectly packaged in a bottle for takeout.\n\nOne thing to notewas that the curries were both a thinner consistency than I am used to. Not necessarily a bad thing, just struck me asdifferent. Maybe the sister restaurant in Irving is the same way, but I have yet to try it and can\'t provide acomparison.\n\nOverall, such an easy place for a delicious and inexpensive Indian meal in The Colony! An eXtension of the India 101 in Irving, it?s Xpress for sure but true and authentic in taste!\n\nFinally!!!! A quick and... efficient way to enjoy classic Indian dishes without compromising quality or quantity! The dishes are savory, you can taste theamazing flavors of spices but but it?s not hot or bland either. The palate is great across the board!\n\nWhat to expect:\n- 3combo styles to suit your hunger with hefty portions (rice can be upgraded to a biryani)\n- Great choice of appetizers, likechaat or samosa\n- If combos aren?t your thing, you can order entrees a la carte (they can cater too)\n- Soft and fluffy, buttery naan\n- Classic desert options: Gulab Jamon, Gajar Halwa and a Fruit Salad\n- Great Customer Service!\n\nGreat ambianceinside for dine in, a quick drive thru, or pick up, and delivery via DoorDash\n\nI highly recommend this place to anyone wantingto enjoy authentic Indian Food, regardless of your spice tolerance because the food is tasty!
