Visited Kilwins after a brief walk at Grandscape. Tried their sea salt caramel and chocolate vanilla ice cream upon the staff... member?s recommendation. It was smooth, creamy and not too sweet. We asked for single scoops and it was just the right quantity.We also bought some chocolate coated pretzels which were too good. The ambiance was perfect and there is plenty of outdoorseating. It?s good ice-cream- plain and simple! As soon as I walked in, the aroma of sweet waffles, caramel, ice cream, and chocolate... filled the air and my nose!!! It?s overwhelming with all that?s going on in this shop. They have a display of all differenttypes of chocolates. Then there?s an area where they have ice cream, and near the back corner, they were making fresh wafflecups/cones. It?s a pretty neat dessert shop! Nothing too thrilling or amazing about the ice cream but on a hot day, when it?s104 out, the cold ice cream definitely hit the spot! Read more
I ordered the coconut icecream which tasted like 107% sugar and 3% coconut. Too dam sweet! Told them I didn?t like it after i... had the first taste. They said since I tasted it already they can?t replace it. ??????? Horrible ice cream, rude employees andterrible customer service. A well-deserved 1 star indeed. Read more
It's not bad but it's not great. There was quite a long line of people waiting to order ice cream and thankfully the workers... worked fast so it was about 10 mins wait. I had the chocolate peanut butter and taste wise it's not the best ice cream. My kidshad the superman and chocolate kid cone. They didn't really end up finishing it. The price was almost the same as a singleserving so it was expensive. For the price it just wasn't expressive. Read more
When you first walk inside, you are met with an amazing scent of fresh chocolate and bakery goodies! The guy behind the counter... was super friendly and helpful. He even gave us a sample of his delicious peanut butter and Oreo fudge. My kiddo loved her mintchocolate ice cream so much and she added chocolate sprinkles on top. Hubby got some chocolate covered peanut clusters. I wanteda brownie or slice of cake but they didn't have any. They have whole cakes though! Thanks for our treats! Read more
It was busy on a Saturday night but they did a good job of serving customers efficiently. I got Traverse City Cherry in a... waffle bowl which was fantastic. Reminded us of Traverse city trip. We also got Mackinaw Fudge another reminder of Michigan. We sat and enjoyed our ice-cream by the led lit pool and fountains. A bit pricey but definitely good! Read more
Nice ice cream, sorbet and chocolate shop located in Grandscape. They offer fudge and reasonable prices on shakes, floats and... ice cream. Not many choices for lactose tolerant individuals but still nice. They have good customer service. Nice for dates orfamilies or going solo. ENJOY! Read more
