We enjoyed breakfast this morning with another couple. One member of our party had french toast and said it as wonderful. The... rest of use had eggs and various sides. The ham steak - you couldn't call it a slice - was very well prepared. I had grits thatreminded me of my grandmother's. Great diner type atmosphere, reminds me of a meat and three back east. Fantastic food. Highlyrecommend. Read more

This was our first time eating at this establishment. The establishment was clean and the server was friendly. We arrived 30... minutes before closing. ( My fault I looked at the wrong time for the wrong day). We were a party of five; 2 adults and 3children. We had the country fried steak and the country fried chicken. They were. . . okay. Our sides were mashed potatoes, green beans, and macaroni. Would have been nice to know there were different gravy options. The server just brought out brownand later told us the white gravy was not available at the moment. Had I known that I might have ordered the pork chops. Thekiddos had the cheeseburger and the chicken strips. I personally recommend the cheeseburger. I ate half of my daughterscheeseburger. They were big and thick. Will definitely return for another burger. We also got fried pickles for the appetizer. The pickles were good. Overall was an okay experience. Will definitely return for the breakfast aspect. I've eaten here half-a-dozen times. It's not the fanciest, but has absolutely spectacular food. The chicken fried chicken is to... die for. $9.99 for the meat, two sides, and soup or salad. Service is always great, and you can BYOB Thursday-Saturday. Coffeeis also hot and fresh. Read more

This used to be a go-to inexpensive breakfast spot for myself and my husband ($5-$9 for a full breakfast. The environment is... clean, but not particularly inviting. A recent trip featured a new, pricier menu ($8-$13 for a full breakfast). Although thewait staff appeared to be the same, our food was not as good, and took a very long time to arrive, despite few customers in theplace. There are better breakfast spots in The Colony. I recommend skipping this one. Read more
