First time at The Colony Cafe. It was wonderfully delicious! The dining room is welcoming, clean and well kept. Coffee was... fresh and refills aplenty.\n\nI had the Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs. The hand battered CFS was perfect. The batter was lightbut crispy. The best CFS I have had in years. Danged good from The Colony Cafe!\n\nHash Browns were crispy on the outside andflavourful on the inside. Eggs cooked to order. A great breakfast I enjoyed at The Colony Cafe.\n\nFinally, service was with asmile. Attentive staff made to feel welcoming. Great job all the way around at The Colony Cafe. Greeted upon entry, place is well-maintained. Prices are affordable. Wait staff attentive, pleasant and professional. They are... open until 8 p.m. and have outdoor seating! I enjoyed the apples and pecans in the French toasdid not like the batter used forFrench toast. I prefer egg based. Sausage nice flavor, cooked thoroughly. Not a problem exchanging French toast for sausagegravy over biscuits. Jackpot! Gravy was seasoned and flavorful, biscuits soft and fluffy.\n\nKids loved them they both saysyummy. Surprise today from my husband, lunch from The Colony Cafe, 2 pork chops with gravy, 2 veggies, a roll and salad. The pork chops... are a dish they are trying, I say it\'s perfect. Meat is generous, tasty and tender; mushroom gravy is thick and delicious,please keep it on the menu. All their veggies are perfectly cooked and seasoned slightly to bring out the flavor of thevegetable, try their fried okra, it\'s great. The other picture is another surprise, apple pancakes. I don\'t usually care forpancakes, until now. They are thick and cooked ALL the way through, no half-cooked dough. The apple induced syrup and pecanssprinkled on top changed my mind about pancakes, as long as they come from The Colony Cafe. You can tell by my photos they aregenerous with the servings. One of the best breakfast places my family and I have tried. We had a large party and from start to finish Kyle was super... attentive and continuously made sure our table was good.
