Zag Afro-Fusion Cuisine is a must visit if you are in the North Dallas area. The food is quite delicious. I had their jollof,... fish and dodo (fried plantain) and it was a burst of flavors. My husband can't stop raving about their jerk chicken. This is theplace to go if you want a nice "home cooked" Nigerian meal. (UPDATE: Long wait times for food) Read more

Legit might be the best Nigerian food in all of dfw. You will wait a little but that?s only because they make your food fresh... and it?s worth the wait. Food is amazing. Portions are too. I?m here like 2x a week now. Read more

My family with Nigerian roots are here so we visited Zag for dinner last night. What a treat. The kids absolutely loved the... honey chicken wings and fried rice, and we tried most everything (my favorite was the naija beef, jerk chicken, fried rice, andfried plantains) but we enjoyed it all. The music, the wonderful couple who own it made us feel very much at home. We didn'treally want to leave lol. Thank you, we will be returning regularly! Read more

I called to place an order today. I went further to inquire about the price and total she mentioned she was no where close by to... verifying that information, but off the back of her head she was able to tell me the price of a side of plantain. I had to askif she would like to reiterate what I ordered for confirmation, I sensed attitude just for making that request, (typical of anAfrican once they sense you are younger in age). The time frame given for pickup was an hr. My sibling arrived to pick it up thetotal was approximately $80 she requested an itemized receipt, she then brought to her notice the difference in price online andthe present receipt. Easy resolution she could have apologized and noted that it will be fixed through an update of the onlinemenu and prices but no, it escalated to a rebuttal, while I over the phone listening and voicing my opinion to my sibling sinceI made the order, was told that I made condescending remarks over the phone to the owner (which I did not, but who cares, we allwant to exonerate ourselves). We still payed for the food being hungry and considerate. Regardless of the distance alreadymade. Customer service:0 Work Ethic:0 I personally don?t settle with the mentality that the customer is always right, but to runa business when you are wrong you accept it, apologize go about your day and make amends . It cost you nothing. It promotes yourbusiness through word of mouth, reviews and retains customers. Read more
