Lovely spot to stop for a bite to eat and enjoy the music outdoors (often there are live bands in the evenings) or dine indoors.... It?s super nice after a walk or bike ride on the HockHocking Adena Bikeway that is conveniently beside. We really had a wonderful visit here. Food was good. Especially the tofu options! Beer selection was outstanding , but a little... lacking in the wine dept. ( for our wine drinking friends ). We had our wedding at Hocking hills yesterday morning. The day before we checked into our cabin and drove 40 minutes after a 2... hour drive to try this place- it was DELICOUS. Hands down the best pulled pork BBQ we?ve ever had and MAC AND CHEESE EGGROLLS??After our morning ceremony we decided we needed lunch and I HAD to have this one more time before we left today. So we wentstill dressed in our wedding gear and when we went to pay we were told our bill had been paid and that she wasn?t telling us whoit was. But then we were approached by the owner, who congratulated us and said he remembered us from the night before. We neverconfirmed who paid for us, but it was fantastic service and amazing food both days and we are so happy to have made it a part ofour wedding weekend. Read more
Stopped in during a bike ride (we started in Nelsonville, went to Ohio University and then back to Eclipse then on to... Nelsonville). Brayden was our server and she is super sweet! I wanted to try a local beer but wasn't sure so I told her my usualdrink of choice and she brought me three samples (2 sours to stretch my taste buds and a blueberry). I settled on the blueberry,on this hot, humid day it was refreshing. We ordered a pound of their bone in wings, buffalo style and they have a unique tastebecause of the smoked wings. Prices are good, for the wings, my beer and 2 Michelob it was around $28. They have a widevariety of beers and the menu looks fabulous but we were only having a snack for the ride. The manager was nice and came to ourtable to check on us and we had some nice conversations with Brayden, she's such a sweet girl (I can say that because she'sabout the age of my daughter ????). Great food, atmosphere, location and service! The owner made us feel right at home as we met up with old friends. We were in... town for a volunteer construction project right around the corner and our local friends suggested it. Joey, our server wasfriendly, helpful and just attentive enough. The staff seemed to work as a team, everyone helping out, yet each doing their job.The live music was a pleasant touch and it has a nice patio area and such easy access from the bike path. I don't want to eat anywhere else. Ever. Everything about our meal was perfection. We tried a little bit of everything. The... brisket and the wings were the stand out menu items. Wish it had warm enough to eat outside and listen to local musicians. Nexttime, Eclipse Company Store, next time! Read more
