We used to frequent this steak n shake weekly until they changed everything after the pandemic. I truly wish they would go back... to the original way it was. Used to be, you waited in line to get in the place, now it's quiet as a mortuary. Ordered at a kiosk, picked up my own food no servers anymore. 20 min wait for food. 1 set of condiments outside of ketchup and... salt and pepper for the whole building so if you want the season salt or pepper juice you have to go to the counter. Staffignored you unless you collared loudly at them. Dropped and slammed trays of food when hollering number. Worked out of order. My $4 meal end up costing $10 by time you add fries and a drink. We asked for help with the kiosk to place our order and was greeted by the most unprofessional employee ever. She actually... rolled her eye's at us stating that the system is very easy and we should try it for ourselves. We were literally the onlycustomers in the store. Fries and shakes ordered were fine. However the grill cheese sandwich must of been pre-made as it wascold and the cheese wasn't even melted, epic fail. Don't bother going there, not worth getting eye rolls from any employee ! Read more
Arrived and there was only 1 family of 5 already at kiosk. Our order 1 burger w/FF and 1 w/onion rings That's it. Order... processed 6;19PM order was ready until 6:42PM. Not worth wait. Did not get bacon on 2 bacon sandwiches or extra sides that were ordered. Were completely ignored by staff when attempting to... get the situation remedied. Had to raise voice to get acknowledged. Manager gave full refund but did not apologize and had meupset to the point of losing my appetite. I know times are hard. Time and money are important even to the customers that stillshow up spending money they probably shouldnt on a meal they should be able to just enjoy. Read more
A good value at $6+ I just wanted a good burger and found both here today. The service was polite and attentive, the #1combo... was delicious and the total was a real surprise given today's inflation. The drink was huge! Thanks Mr. Turnbull for your goodmanagement. Read more
I ordered through Doordash and ordered 2 triple steak burgers...they were perfect! I also ordered 4 bowls of chili and they were... good...but I noticed that it no longer has meat...I buy it in the grocery store and it has meat...I used to buy it from them andit had meat! The "meat" has been replaced by an abundance of kidney beans...good...not the same! Unless you are avoiding"meat"... don't order. Food was hot and delicious. My only disappointment was the chili. My family of four (4) had dinner here when arrived only had 4 employees working. We were instructed to order at the kiosk, pay... and then sit down at the table the dine in area was clean and so where the bathrooms. We waited about 15 minutes for food itcame out hot and fresh. The Milkshakes were delicious! Exactly how we ordered our food. I appreciate the two employees that werestill there when we left I thank them for coming in today and working their shift nowadays it isn't easy working short staff butthey were rock stars! Read more
