Want to dine on a chic patio while in the Woodlands? Try brunch at Hearsay On The Waterway. This is a welcoming establishment... where you will feel comfortable whether you are dressed up or dressed down. There’s a wonderful brunch menu with tasty disheslike Fried Chicken and Waffles, the Farmer’s Omelette (with fresh spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, and mozzarella), and the TexasOmelette (with amazing smoked brisket, jalapeño peppers, avocado, and pico de gallo). If you read any of my previous brunchreviews attended with my favorite gal pals, you know that this was all washed down with a few bottles of Prosecco. Talk aboutfour happy tummies! Try it out for lunch, dinner, and happy hour. You can thank me later. Read more

I came here by word of mouth Referal from a client of mine. He has a refined palate, so I appreciated his opinion. Started off... with their Cheesesteak egg rolls with sweet chili sauce, garnished with micro greens. Not only were they flavorful but pairedwell with the accompanying sauce. The beef short ribs were absolutely delicious, rich, and fork tender. The grits were creamyand great with the Brussel sprouts. Good texture combinations. Ended up getting the bread pudding with ice cream and caramelsauce. Overall, I will come back for more. Read more

The staff was awesome, very attentive. We had a great view of the waterway but unfortunately it was hard to enjoy ourselves due... to the kids of a nearby table being allowed to play and throw balls around. The manager did speak to the couple about theirkids. It was just a bit late. We went for brunch . I ordered the chicken and waffle. The chicken was ol but I didn't like thewaffle. It was a little on the hard side and not very tasty. My aunt enjoyed her chicken fried steak. My wife ordered the baconwrapped shrimp and grits. She didn't care for her food either. She complained about the taste of the grits being too gritty andhe bacon was too soft for her liking. In the restaurants defense we didn't ask for any special cooking instructions such ascrispy bacon or a softer waffle. This was my wife and I first time here but I dont think we'll be running back any time soon.Glad we tried it though. Read more

My Husband and I decided to do a staycation in the Woodlands. We reviewed quite a few of the restaurants in the area and Hearsay... caught our attention. We decided to have dinner and drinks Friday night and wake up and do Saturday morning breakfast. Theservers were very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was served hot and fresh. The smoked Gouda grits and the chicken andwaffles are amazing! The drinks were delicious also. On Friday night Morgan suggested I try the Whitney. That was a greatsuggestion. The Whitney is was very refreshing and fruity. Just like I like my drinks. We will definitely be returning. Read more

UPDATE: We made Easter reservations here for convenience, too cut down on wait time and because we enjoyed it so much... previously. VERY DISAPPOINTING!! They no longer have a vegan/vegetarian menu. They still carry an Impossible burger but not muchelse for anyone with any dietary restrictions. I've reduced my rating to 3 stars. We celebrated my daughter's birthday herelast weekend. It was a great experience. Parking is super easy in the paid lot about half a block away. It was $10/day. By thetime we left at 3, it was free parking. The restaurant had nice views of the water. We sat in the enclosed patio area. Theserver was super nice. We were able to get seated without our entire party being there which is really nice. Everything came outpretty quickly and was delicious. I had Vegan ceviche, cauliflower wings and an impossible burger. I tried my friend's dessert. The bread pudding was slightly disappointing as it was a tad dry and small compared to the portion at most other places I'vetried. They even have a vegan/vegetarian menu. Check them out for girls' night and date night. They have specials for thosenights. Date night is $25 for a steak meal. I highly recommend this restaurant. Read more

I was pleasantly surprised by the food. We ordered the fish tacos and the chicken sandwich, and they both were delicious!... Beautiful decor inside, outdoor seating has water view. Service could have have been a little more pleasant. Read more

Happy hour is great time to start! :) Stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant while in the area. The Whitney is so delicious! Had... the spinach cheese dip, deviled eggs, cheeseburger egg rolls, and the grilled veggie sandwich! A little bit of everything Iguess?? It was all so delicious! The fries are my FAVORITE, crunchy and shoestring! Only complaint was the the chips served withthe cheese dip were stale. We mentioned this to the waitress and she got us another plate however those were stale as well.Mostly like made from the same batch. Other than that the ambience was nice...sitting on the patio and enjoying the view andfood! Read more
