The food is pretty mediocre and overpriced. Not worth the wait and snooty staff (authentically French). They charge gratuity up... front then do nothing but drop a plate on your table. They give one plate at a time so the first recipient?s food is cold by thetime the other parties get theirs. Two stars because my food was good (salmon artisan toast). But the rest of my family?s crepeswere so, so. Read more

First of all to avoid confusion the cafe says gourmet bakery on the outside not la francesita but dont let that deter you. Its... charming and cozy atmosphere was lovely. Prices range depending on what you get. We bought things from low to high to try andall were great quality. Hubby got a plain croissant with jam and butter on the side and a smoked salmon omelet (omelet 4) and Igot a nutella crepe and California panini. Sodas are sold by the can but they have water and a selection of coffees as wellthough we did not try the coffee. The croissant was perfectly flaky on the outside and warm and perfectly textured on theinside. The smoked salmon omelet was delicious (my first time trying smoked salmon and egg together) and as hubby put it aperfectly balanced dish. The panini was delicious and in my opinion bigger than more paninis I end up with in most places. Nicecrunch on the outside and warm on the inside with no cold spots in the filling. Now the crepe. Most of yall have had crepes bythis point but the difference here was how much more authentic this one was. The taste and texture were spot on. Highlyrecommend and my toddler seconds that recommendation as he kept trying to get more before he finished his current mouthful. Heate a little of our other dishes as well but of course his favorite was the crepe. The staff were friendly and we had no problemwith rudeness as some people have complained. We spent 56 including tip and for the quality I am ok with that. We went at 845-9am and it was quiet but started to pick up when we left so I recommend going earlier than not as its a small cafe and I caneasily imagine it getting packed as the rush comes. There is outside seating as well and high chairs for those with littles. Allaround, great place and atmosphere with great food. Would dine again. Read more

Phenomenal French pastries. Best almond croissant I?ve ever had. Other foods have been good too. And since it?s small, it feels... like you?ve found a great little place that no one knows about. They do run out of pastries though so suggest you go early.Great place to chat and catch up with old friends. Read more

Our favorite French Bakery and Cafe. The food is amazing. Everything is made fresh in the store so the prices are worth it. Some... reviews complain about the price and the quality of the service. But the croissants are hand made, we got here early one morningand they had the kitchen door open and you could see the were hand rolling the croissants. We have never had an issue with theservice either. Read more

My sister and I came here for the first time today, and we absolutely adored it. We ordered the Norway Croissant and the Galette... 2 Crepe, both were absolutely divine. Never have we tasted a more flavorful crepe! The icing on the cake - the ambiance is sosweet. I love the French look and the wall paintings. We will be sure to return to try something sweet! ???? So what?s the name of this place? Apple Maps says one thing, the door says another, and Google maps says a third? Is it ?the... gourmet bakery?, ?La Francesita?, or ?Gourmet Bakery Cafe?? First, and my biggest complaint is the price points. Everythinghere is quality, but not worth the price. They want 15.50 -18.50 for eggs Benedict. That?s outrageous. So I got something morefairly priced. Now, with what we ordered, everything was fantastic and full of flavor. It was wonderful. The meals are largeand yummy. I was shocked the place wasn?t more busy! (Maybe the price?) Who knows. I recommend giving it a try! There was alsoa hair in my food, it was on a corner, so I pulled it off and left that corner alone. But they cook should wear a hairnet. Thisisn?t the only hair complaint on the reviews here. Read more
