This is a fantastic little unassuming restaurant, but so glad we found it and will be coming back! Husband and I started with... salad offerings, and I have to say the Caprese was one of the best I've ever had! They add roasted red peppers, and have theabsolute perfect balsamic mix for a little extra kick that I truly enjoyed. Our meals were great as well, but the service wasabsolutely beyond expectations! My husband ordered a particular martini, which it turned out he did not enjoy. The bartenderactually came over and INSISTED on making him something different, even though it was our mistake and not his. If you go, besure to try the cucumber martini because it is a winner!! Stopped on a whim on a Friday night for the first time and was delighted with the food, service, and ambiance. The bread and oil... that was provided was soft, flavorful, and delicious, the bruschetta appetizer and minestrone soup were amazing, and our meals(spaghetti and meatballs and beef tortellini with mushroom) were excellent as well. Someone was playing classical, fun tunes onthe piano and our server was so absolutely kind. It made for an all around great experience. I was genuinely surprised thatthere were not more people dining than there was because everything was so great. Highly recommend! Read more

My husband and I were planning on stopping at Jersey Mike's for a quick lunch, but saw Nona's next door and decided to try it... out. They greeted us warmly even though we were not dressed for style of restaurant that Nona's is (husband was wearing a StarWars TV shirt and I was in a tank top and came sweatpants...yikes). Our server was Joey and he was so professional, kind andprovided top notch service. The garlic bread was delicious. My husband had the Lobster Ravioli special and I had the Spaghettiwith meat sauce - Both meals were outstanding. We finished the meal off with some Tiramsu... Chef's kiss! My wife and I visited this restaurant Thursday for our first time. We have been looking for good Italian food on the North side... and we found it! The prices are fair and the service was outstanding. The food was some of the best we have eaten. The homemadepasta and fresh vegetables were delicious. We can’t wait to go back. Read more
