The Mrs. and I were looking for someplace to celebrate our 10th anniversary. On account of the pandemic and having back-to-back... kids, it had been over 2.5 years since we were out on a date. The local FB Foodies group recommended Tris. And Trisdelivered. The staff was incredible, attentive, and friendly. And the food was amazing. Each dish shocked and surprised uswith the unique but delicious combinations of flavors and textures. We started out with ahi tuna in a ponzu, chili and crunchygarlic broth and sliced orange and peppers on top. Then we decided we also had to try their crispy pork belly with jalapeno, blue cheese, and whipped maple on top. Both were very surprising, and unexpectedly good. I love pork belly, but I neverconsidered a sweet whipped topping. Then we had their Thai watermelon salad with shaved radish, chili, mint, crunchy garlic, and a Thai vinaigrette (with a hint of fish sauce). Again I was surprised at how good it was. For the main course, the Mrs.got scallops and baconified prosciutto over a truffle risotto. I had a bowl with ora king salmon over a bed of black rice, chili oil, thom kha gai, and cashews. Of course we shared with each other. For dessert we ended up going for the blueberry piewith struesel topping and a scoop of almond rum vanilla ice cream. A LOT of very fun and unexpected flavors and textures thatwent together really well. We're already trying to plan for our next visit. Read more

Wow! Drove over an hour here to check it out for our anniversary. Was beyond my expectations We started with beef tostada -... beautiful combination between texture and flavor. Crunch from the chip, meaty of beef, and sour of pickled red cabbage, with abit creamy sauce???? The Korean crab was just okay, imo, but my hubby loved it. The pork belly was interesting. We loved thetaste of the meat, combined so well with sweet whipped maple cream, spinkle of blue cheese and a kick from jalapeños. Octopuswas only okay, imo. Great texture but need more flavor. For main course, we shared the ribs, and they were Out. Of. This.World. Prob the best ribs we ever had. Crusty outside, tender in the middle. The fat from the meat go so well with their kimchivinegrette. We had beet salad as our side dish. It goes together but I would definitely want to see more flavor if order itseparately. Bread pudding was definitely a must. Probably top 3 best bread puddings in Houston. The service was top notch.Edgardo was phenomenal. Truly professional but very funny and knowledgeable at the same time We had an amazing time there anddefinitely will come back! Read more

Visited Tris as part of a vendor meetup. The entire experience from start to finish was excellent. The variety of food offered... as part of the event was varied enough to have something for everyone. I choose the wedge salad, the chicken breast withrisotto, and the vanilla bread pudding. All three dishes were well done and very flavorful. The general consensus from thegroup is everyone was extremely satisfied. If you're in the area, would absolutely recommend Tris Read more

Stunning restaurant! We hosted a corporate event that was second to none. We started with Ahi Tuna, then Roasted Oysters,... followed by Truffle Brioche grilled cheese (love it) and then a steak board that blew our mind. This was a wonderful event andwe really appreciate the attention to detail from the staff and the head chef. Check out the desert - Wonderful. Read more
