The food are so deliciously good and fresh. The crabs, shrimps and lobster tail are recommended to try here. The carrot cake is... a must have and it is truly world class. I have to say that was the best carrot cake that I ever had. Watch out that the servingof the carrot cake is huge even for two persons. First timer…. On our birthday weekend!!!! We were not disappointed. The service.... The ambience... The FOOD... WAS... AWESOME!!!! We enjoyed a few drinks at the bar and then we were seated in the main restaurant. Our buddy, IVY, Took great careof us. She delivered fully with her excellent service and we truly appreciated having her. We had fun as we engaged with herand she topped the night with the a stunning Baked Alaska. My husband and I dined here for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. At first, we felt pretty special because numerous... people congratulated us on our anniversary (they put little gems on your table so people know that you’re celebrating). But Iwas pretty disappointed that they did not allow us to sit on the patio outside, because the weather was incredible and itwould’ve made our night that much more special and secluded. It was actually one of the reasons we decided to eat on HughesLanding. I was extremely disappointed in the lack of service from our waitress, she was inattentive and I had to ask the managerif to take our order and ask another server for more water after waiting a while (twice). We had heard great things about themac & cheese here, but again we were disappointed to not find it on the menu. The manager found out about our request and spokewith the chef to see if he could put together a mac & cheese for us. He did, and it was unbelievably delicious! This customerservice was over the top and we appreciated it. When the food came out — we ordered the surf & turf, the appetizer meatballs,mac n cheese, and asparagus. We were also given a free carrot cake for our anniversary, it was huge- the photo doesn’t do itjustice. I didn’t get a photo of the meatballs, but everything was incredible. The food redeemed the poor service we receivedfrom our waitress and the service from the manager is why I’m giving Truluck’s 3 stars. If you’re going to pay over $100per person for a meal, you need to have more wait staff that can attend to guests in a timely manner. This is my biggestcomplaint. Read more

Delicious sea food, our server was great and friendly and we had no complaints throughout the night. The food was fresh,... definitely gotta try the scallops! Their sauces were amazing and the chef was kind enough to make all our dishes shared togetherso we could try everything on the table! The atmosphere was also nice and mostly formal. There were not as many young people butthat was kinda expected. Always better to get a reservation to places like this and the valet parking was also smooth and not ahassle. Would recommend 10/10! So I only gave 4 stars because there we a few little bumps in the road for our dinner - nothing that would prevent me from... coming back. Emma did a great job taking care of us. She was very attentive and kind to us. My filet was ordered “black andblue” but came out as medium. They asked me to cut into it and fixed it right away. Joe came over right away, apologized andfixed it! The wedge salad was ENORMOUS, so very tasty and a beautiful presentation! We we delighted with the beautiful,complimentary, baked Alaska for dessert!. I didn’t get a photo of the dessert, but the presentation was so elegant! The menuis very heavy on crab legs, but lots of good fish options too. There are 3 beef steaks and 3 vegan options. Everyone was wondering! We had an awesome server Kathy! She was very patience with us and helped us very much! She went above... and beyond! We are really appreciative and grateful! Took my boyfriend for his birthday dinner. From the moment we walked through the door, the service was impeccable, and it... continued until we walked out. Our waitress Layne was helpful and patient (this was our first time and she guided us throughthe menu and gave great suggestions). This is the epitome of fine dining with seafood. Their crab cakes and lobster is probably the best thing I have ever tasted from... any seafood place. They also have a very fine selection of wine. I took my soon-to-be wife here for our anniversary andengagement and they treat you well with a free dessert. Live piano music and the atmosphere is great. Perfect place for aromantic date. Read more
