Really great food, one of the best chicken fried steaks I?ve ever eaten. The portions are very large. Be prepared to have... leftovers. The staff is very efficient and pleasant. It is always been an enjoyable experience, every time. Read more

We went last night and it was not a packed place. We waited an hour and 15 minutes after we ordered to receive our meal. The... appetizer was spinach and artichoke dip, which it should just be called spinach and bread. The entree I ordered was shrimpetoufee. I received a white sausce over cold rice. I said I did not want it. I ordered hamburger steak cause they can not messthis up right? Well, they said it was not thawed then said it was. After an hour and 40 minutes I finally get a meal. My wifeordered shrimp alfredo and it was served with angel hair pasts. Absolute terrible service and they did not even bother adjustingthe bill after the ordeal. I would not recommend and we will not go back. Read more

Meatloaf, potatoes and green beans tasted right out mom's kitchen. My son's pork belly BLT was fabulous and he loves him some... bacon. We could barely finish half the meal. Meal is definitely worth the price! Staff is friendly and kind. Read more

The restaurant decor was definitely dated. Seems like the building is also American Legion meeting place. Very spacious not cozy... if that?s what you?re looking for. Also was unusually dark for lunch. Menu was mostly seafood but did have meat dishes. Lunchservings were large and enough to bring some home. Food was very good. Entrance to the restaurant is in the back of the Americanlegion building by the Carrot Patch. Limited paved parking. I was told to park somewhere else because I was in the driveway. Didn?t seem like one but moved and parked on the grass. When we left there were traffic cones designating the driveway so musthave been a continuing problem. Many of the parking spots were labeled handicap and Carrot Patch. Everyone one was attentive. Read more
