Nice atmosphere, friendly employees. Sandwiches made on delicious homemade bread. Assorted coffees, deserts like homemade cakes,... cookies. So the food here is very good. However when you post ?breakfast till 11?, you should honor breakfast till 11. We were in line... 15 mins and it was before 11 when we got to the front and they said they stopped serving at 10:30. Frustrating to come to, waitin line and then be told you can?t have breakfast. Took too long in line to pick up my to go order. Waiting in line about 10 minutes. I was standing there at the counter for 5... minutes. No one said anything until i got closer to check if my order was on the shelf, it was. I found that rude. Also, manypeople had no masks at their table, while waiting for their food and not eating. Seems like they are short staffed. Food isvery good, but the sandwiches are thin for the price. Sandwiches were barely warm when i got home. Been here about 4 times, abit disappointed today. The quality of espresso is 10/10. The food is delicious, comes out fresh and presentation is never neglected. I?ve heard... complaints about the prices of food but let?s be real for a moment, this is a coffee shop. A fresh grilled cheese here is theprice of a bottled tea out of the cooler at any other coffee shop. It?s not uncommon to encounter a new barista who is still inthe process of learning, and I believe this is where the generalized complaints come from. Don?t let something like a drink withtoo much foam, or whatever, deter your opinion of this café. As a barista myself, it is completely understandable and in no wayrude to simply ask for your drink to be remade. 5 stars! Read more
It's so difficult to find a breakfast place in the Houma/Thibodaux area and so when discovered Weeping Willow we were very... excited. The menu wasn't very expansive but had the usual. No grits, which is kind of a bummer for a South Louisiana breakfastplace. I ordered one of the menu items open faced. The dish was very delicious although I would have ordered the egg over easy,but I wasn't asked how I wanted it. I guess the most disappointing aspect was the sliced cheese. It looked and tasted storebought. ???? I'll probably be back, but with more questions to our server to ensure I get exactly what I'm looking for. Read more
