Friendly staff. Good food. Burgers are good. 8/10, would come back. A nice spot to go for lunch or dinner.
We have been to Skippy's before and it never disappoints. Stopped in as part of a chili trail. The best part is the bar, which... is U-shaped. The inside of the "U" is narrow, so you can talk to the bartender and the people across from you. Chili anddrinks were good. Burgers we've had in the past were also good. Good service, good food, and good conversation (if you wantit). Prices are very reasonable. Read more
Wanted to like it. Got there and it was busy. Told 40 min plus wait, which was fine. After we came in 2 different parties of 4/5... people came in and were seated within 10 min of their arrival. After an hour of waiting, we had to follow-up and were finallyseated. Then we had an app and a drink. Now 2 hours after we arrived, we're still waiting to actually eat. I get seating thelarger parties but guess what, I won't be returning with friends or family. Update, after the 2h 10 min mark we left some cashand left to eat somewhere else. Great burgers, fantastic apps and desserts...however, what made this such a great visit and a strong recommendation was the... absolutely fantastic service and overall vibe. This was our first visit but if you would have lunch with us at the bar you wouldhave thought we were weekly regulars...not because we are cool kids but because our bartender was such a laid back awesomecommunicator. She kept everyone engaged with not just her but others. Literally felt like we were hanging at Cheers with somegreat burgers and beer. Absolutely recommend and will return. Read more
I really like this place I had the Wisconsin Burger with their beer my daughter had big kids Girl cheese that she loved They... were really fast and friendly only complaint was the fries taste like it was out for a while but still tasted good Read more
Good burgers and awesome service! Burgers will all be cooked well but not over. Lots of great burger options including a veggie... burger, as well as other menu options. Small dog friendly patio. Lovely view of the river. Read more
Stopped in for some food and a drink after looking at some motorcycles. They had an event so the menu was limited. The food was... great and I was told that the buns that they were using for the burger were not their regular ones however they were stilldelicious. In my original review I had some concerns but the response cleared up any misunderstanding, thank you for theresponse and for taking time to clear that up for me. If you're in the area and are looking for a burger you cant go wrong @Skippy's. Read more
Excellent place to relax with your friends. The service is good, and the staff is very friendly. Great place to go for some food... and a couple of drinks outside on the patio, or to watch a Brewers, Packers, or Bucks game in the bar. They even have livemusic at various times through the year.
