Best seafood in town. Their staff feeds pretty large crowds nightly , very efficiently and with incredible consistency. Great... chefs, bartenders, and really tasty food. Great burgers, wings, chowder, steaks, prime rib and much more. Their lobster bisqueis a complete home run. Loaded with chunks of lobster and tasty as I've ever had. Live bands they have periodically are great. It is normally very busy and that is for a very good reason! Read more

The waitress was great! Great service!! The cook doesn?t know how to send food out to customers hot. $30.00 for cold prime rib... . $20.00 for cold clam strips and potato. $ 4.99 for lobster bisque soup, no lobster in it. Had to pay the bill. Food went tothe garbage. Read more

Service is usually exceptional but the the food is hit or miss in my experience. For example, I've had excellent stuffed... mushrooms there, I've also had butter drenched brown nuggets that may have been a mushroom in their past life. The Newburghseafood dinner is a great plate to share (HUGE portion) and consistently yummy. The specials are usually your best bet, we got aswordfish/shrimp dinner special to share last night and it was cooked perfectly. The chowder and bisque are always a goodappetizer option. The river view from the outside deck is relaxing and enjoyable, it's very noisy inside on weekends/live musicnights. Read more

My husband and i LOVE their lobster rolls! They are huge, tender and very filling...well worth the money! We get the dinner... plate that comes with their flavorful coleslaw and chips or fries. Sorry i don't have a pic! I will get one soon. Often weget them to go and the way they handle the lobster is by placing it in a container and everything is to the side and has to beconstructed. We love it...we have NEVER had a squishy, buttery bun as a result. Ya know...i might have to get one of thesetomorrow! ???? Read more

Was on an adventure with my significant other who used to live out this way. Decided to stop in for a nice meal. Boy, they did... not disappoint. Everything was on point. Waitress and staff were very friendly and attentive. One of the best clam chowder'sI've had, and the whole belly's were huge. Would recommend if in the area. They also have a patio out back overlooking theriver. Read more

UPDATE: I'm disappointed. I've been ordering their boneless chicken to go ever since my first visit here. Tonight I brought my... daughter here to surprise her and we ordered what we ALWAYS order. We shared the 10 piece boneless chicken and shared a steakquesadilla... I am not happy with the chicken as of lately. The first time I went thru told me that they hand bread and cook thechicken themselves... It's always been so crispy and juicy... The last 4 orders or so have been noticably different.Unsatisfyingly different. It's no longer crispy, the honey BBQ tastes different, it's drier inside. Just not happy with myexperience as of lately. Not sure if the cook is different, maybe ingredients are different? But this isn't working for me.???????? I'm so sad about it. I love love love going here, but I don't like the chickenanymore. _________________________________ This was our second time going here! Oh my goodness absolutely amazing! Can't waitto go back! Staff was friendly, even other patrons were super friendly. The atmosphere was better than anywhere else I've beenin a long time!! Read more

This seafood restaurant also offers live music and a musician we know was playing there Friday night so we went over to have... dinner and see his performance. A surprise for us was another friend of ours had been called to add another guitar to the bandand sing. They put on a fun show. The restaurant was crowded and we were early for our reservation but they found us a booth inthe dining room that wasn't a popular choice, but it was fine with us. We had two double cocktails and looked over the regularand specials menus. Offered on weekends, I decided to get the prime rib, medium rare, baked potato and mixed vegetable medley ofthe night. My partner chose a combination platter of fried clams and shrimp with french fries and an appetizer of steamedclams. For those that read my reviews, you know ordering steamed clams is iffy to me because I never think they're doneproperly, and I only recently had an exceptional serving of these a few weeks ago in a fish place not by the shore, thatthankfully reminded me how wonderful steamers can be. That said, Crabby Al's were like most restaurants, dry and chewy. I passedafter trying a couple and my partner ate the rest. Our main dishes were both very good, however. My prime rib was cooked asordered, juicy and full of meaty flavor. The baked potato was fair and the vegetable medley was decent. My partners fried clamstrips and Gulf shrimp combo were lightly battered, crispy and plentiful. For once we got dessert. Chocolate cake with whippedcream decoratively on the side and chocolate syrup. With two cups of coffee, it was just what we were looking for to enjoy theband another two hours. Regrettably, I lost a plastic card there probably taking photos. Calling the restaurant the next daythey said nothing like that was in their lost and found. People these days don't seem to return things they find that aren'ttheirs and clearly important. I always do, as do the people I know, but in public places it's a long shot. Read more
