Ok I tried Popeyes. The chicken was ok but nothing spectacular. The skin/crust seemed to not have been seasoned much. Skin/crust... was more greasy than tasty. Bland tasting fried chicken is a no go for me. It may be good for others but being the Deep South Iwould have expected a lot more flavorful taste with seasoning. You just can't compensate for lack of seasoning with big piecesof chicken as a selling point when the taste is not there. Being Popeyes origin is in Louisiana, I would have thought theseasoning of the chicken would be a step above standard fried chicken but it was not. Also if you're going to sell fries asCajun Fries they darn better be seasoned Cajun style. They weren't. Read more

Respectfully, I rarely complain, but by far, [this] restaurant is the most poorly managed fast-food establishment that I have... EVER visited (several times - same experience). Hopefully, more consistent reviews will reach the attention of corporate officemanagement and/or other regional affiliated persons who will take notice and enact firm efforts to resolve the lack of order,timeliness and unacceptable service on all fronts. We were told it would be a 6 minute wait for our food. It took over 20 minutes. They were doing the drive thru only, which is... fine. But as we were waiting for our food (5 spicy sandwiches and 1 large box of fries... nothing complicated) at least 8 carswere able to get their orders and leave. It doesn't take 20 minutes to fry chicken.... No apology was given and the kid who gaveus our food didn't smile or acknowledge us. In fact he gave us a rude look like WE were the inconvenience. I'm a very kindperson and was not rude in speaking with anyone. I just wanted to get our food in a timely manner, which was not done. Read more
Never in my life had i had such a terrible experience at Popeye's. Popeyes have lately been known for their chicken sandwich. As... you can tell from the photos, my chicken sandwich was extremely old. The texture was actually disgusting and i couldn't finishit. Have you ever bit into a hard noodle? I wouldn't think anyone would, but unfortunately I did. The mac and cheese wasgenuinely undercooked. I went back to exchange it with fries. Don't come to this location with any ideas of fresh tasty chicken.You will be throughly disappointed. Merely getting a refund will not fix this problem.
