They were short on staff. Our server did his best to take care of us. We didn't get refills on our drinks. I got the... whitefish and cajun fries. It came with a little cup of coleslaw. It was okay. My husband on the other hand ordered one ofthe boils, he enjoyed it. My husband said he would go back to try another boil. I would choose to go somewhere else. Read more
Crab was not cook to order, crab was long soaked which makes it wet and soggy. Ordered a side of crab legs plain, they came out... seasoned so they took them back and washed them off- yeah no body could tell they had seasoning inside. Did not know they specialize in Boils. I had the crawfish, shrimp, sausage. Excellent.. Excellent.. the only issue I had was... only 3 taters came in the bag. Half pound of shrimp, half pound sausage, half pound of crawlies and 3 little taters... atleast 5PO TAY TOES... it was really good though. Nice interior. Enjoy. Read more
Great place for enjoying southern boil. Absolutely enjoyed it. I really loved the ambience and the decor of the restaurant.... It's amazingly clean and looks great. Our host was really sweet. We ordered the half pound shrimp(headless) boil and a chickentender basket, with onion rings. The menu stated that we could substitute the sides in the chicken tender basket but I wascharged extra for the onion rings. Maybe I read the menu wrong, but that's alright. The shrimp boil was amazing. The cajunseasoning was just awesome. The potatoes tasted amazing. The shrimp were big and juicy. I could taste the garlic, butter, thelemon and all the goodness of the boil. It was great. The chicken tenders were great too. They were a little dry to mypreference but the flavors were great. The cajun fries was okay. The onion rings was the highlight. I am not a big fan of onionrings but they were awesome and although I had to pay extra for them, I am glad I ordered them. They were really crispy on theoutside and warm and soft on the inside. It was great. The sauces were amazing,too. Our host was kind enough to bring us allthree different ones and they were awesome. We really enjoyed our experience at King Claw, Thomasville. The restaurant isreally clean including bathrooms which were kept super clean. I appreciate that. The food was remarkable but with the exception for the wings, they were saturated in oil, and was not drained of the cooking oil... before placing on the plate, the wings were grease..... The hospitality from our host, Zadiah, was beyond normal hospitality and recognition needs to be extended from King Claw..... Read more
Such a great find. Decided to go shopping outside Tallahassee, found this place in the TJ Max shopping center. Allen was our... bartender/server, super cute, nice. Food was delicious. Had the shrimp basket, very fresh, so yummy. Fries are very crispy,crunchy. Tasted great. I had the Cajun fries, which were nice. Great place, music, can tell its a fun bar at night. Check itout, don't think you'll be disappointed. Read more
I Love it there. I have plenty more pictures but I'll just post these. My go to place. The owner (the black lady) is very... helpful. Never had a issue with the staff. Food is always hot and tasty. That's why I keep coming back as you see in thepictures. Thanks everyone there. Read more
It was my third time here and I know when something is over cooked, undercooked or not cooked at all. It wasn’t packed at all... but it was karaoke night and so forth. The boom boom tacos was great! We both got boils and it was okay. The cheesecake ….???? I can say the legs were a lil overcooked! Everything was okay this time. Read more
