The food is very good, the place is nice with a nice history. Our waitress wasn't terrible, super unpolite, stressed or... something like that. Somebody probably made her mad because if she is that way she shouldn't be serving people. If wasn't forher, our experience would be even better, specially because we traveled from far away just to have a meal there and ho backhome. Read more
Excellent restaurant, my husband had the 8 oz filet cooked perfectly. I had one of the specials for the evening Veal Piccata... with a side of spaghetti it was fabulous. Ashley our server gave excellent customer service. We will visit again. Read more
Hosted a celebratory dinner at the Plaza. I was blown away by the customer service Becky provided (I think that?s her name).... There was a total of 20 people in our party. She attended to everyone?s need and was courteous. I personally want to thankCassandra for her professionalism and checking on us prior to the end of her shift. My mother, her friend and myself went for lunch today. I had not eaten there in years and years. Well, we all had grilled shrimp... along with different sides. All 3 of us very much so enjoyed every morsel. I can't believe I have been missing out for so long!I will hopefully be back Saturday!!! Thank you and hat's off to the chef. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Just had the WORST chicken wings EVER!!! They were bone dry, rock hard and you could taste that they... weren't fresh with that fridge taste that tells you they've been there too long! Tasted my son's fries and they were nearlyburned and greasy. You could taste that the grease was old and hadn't been changed. I don't even think they were freshly cooked!When a teenage boy won't eat the fries, you KNOW there's a problem! Sent them back and the owner/manager came over. He wasrude, refused to replace them, charged me for them and told me to GET OUT of his restaurant. I paid $48 dollars for the WORSTlunch that I've ever eaten in my life! I will not be returning. He's certainly the RUDEST, most VILE and ignorant person I'verun into in this beautiful town. My waitress was GREAT and I tipped her well but you could tell that his staff is intimidatedby him. They couldn't even look me in the eyes as we left his little dump. He's a tiny, little tyrant taking a legacyrestaurant to his low level. He's an embarrassment to himself and his restaurant! I've been going to that restaurant since Imoved into this town. I've spoken with many people that have quit this restaurant and no one has a kind word to say abouthim. Finally got a chance to stop in for dinner for my 50th Birthday. Having moved from NY to FL 4 yrs ago we have been desperate to... find good food...(no offense southerners but the food down here just isn't on the same level as up north) anyway...we are SOOOOhappy we got here. Was by far the best dinner I've had since moving here, my Filet Oscar was cooked perfectly and was extremelytender, the oysters casino were delicious as were the bacon wrapped shrimp, my husband had blackened whole flounder and it wassuperb! The cheesecake was also delicious. The service was great and our server stopped by numerous times to check on us and seethat all was ok...all in all it was a prefect dining experience and well worth the money and 45 minute drive...we willdefinitely be stopping un again very soon!
