My family and I had an awesome brunch recently from the fantastic team at Misfits. The ladies provided exceptional food, fast... service and such an enjoyable experience. We were relaxed and had our specialty coffees while we enjoyed the phenomenal frenchtoast and tomato salad. We are planning our next meal with Misfits soon to try more of the menu! Can’t say enough about how awesome Misfits Hospitality is… these girls are amazing and their food is fun, unique and very... tasty. My husband and I and multiple friend groups have had the chance to enjoy their work at Penny’s in Thornbury. Theirsteak and Caesar is one of my favourites, steak always cooked to perfection! Their new menu items (best pasta) and theirdessert have unique twists that are not only yummy but make them super fun to eat..: Like their beef tartar on ritz and theirFrosted Flakes dessert :) We are local and go back again and again for their “hospitality” and great food! I’m literally back from New York today where I was lucky enough to be a convention with 10 Michelin star chefs serving their... BEST DISH. Nothing I had there was better than what I’v been having at Misfits. The dishes are creative, tasty andentertaining to eat. The steak was cooked perfectly. The Tartar on a Ritz cracker was playful and delicious. This is serious bigcity gastronomy up in Thornbury and you won’t have ever experienced all Thornbury has to offer if you don’t enjoy someMisfits culinary genius. We go ALL the time. It’s obvious how much thought and creativity go into their dishes and I love having somewhere to go that makes the\nclassics,... like eggs benny, but with REAL food and completely from scratch (not the fake cheap stuff). The misfits put their heart and soulinto their hospitality and their food, always making visiting, dining and eating with them an amazingly unique experience. My fiancé and I found Misfits in Meaford this summer and could not believe what we were eating was from a food truck! They are... truly redefining what food truck food can be.\nWhen we found out they took over the kitchen at Penny’s motel, we had to go trytheir food again. The menu is so creative, some flavours you would never imagine pair so well together. The gals behind misfits(Tori & Ali) are a delight to chat with as well. We will definitely be back for more! Poor at best.. the dishes that we ordered were unimaginative, under seasoned and overpriced. The steak was not cooked properly... or seasoned, the dish itself was lacking imagination.\nWe came to Penny\'s last summer and the food was great! We know its adifferent Chef, but what a huge drop in the level of cooking. Great space, huge potential but that\'s were it ends. Hopefullythere is a change soon! Read more
