Takes too long to get order completed for a takeout restaurant doesn't make sense. Costs too much for portion, $19.90 for a... sandwich like really?? You get a small portion of meat for that price and it is like chewing rubber. A tiny salad container isnorth of $7.50 ???? that's just gouging. 4 sandwiches in pita is $80. I know you gotta make money, but get a reality check. Iam not griping to hurt them, I am making it clear they have to rework their pricing and give their customer a betterexperience. This review is based on experience trying this location for more than 8 months. - Smaller Portions with increased prices. The... prices have increased twice. No issues on this (inflation we all know)?But increased prices and lower standards do not gowell. - For Laffa, it all depends on the person who is preparing your wrap. The sauce, hummus and filling is very inconsistentlyadded. - Observation? there is an unsaid expectation of tipping. If you tip the order is made with care? else you receivesub-standard order. - Extremely slow in serving. There are times I have waited 20+mins for a wrap. - Noticed they have removedpickles and hot peppers from pita/laffa filling station. Garlic sauce was not available. I?ve been visiting this location for 3 years now. The food is consistently good. I usually order a combination of the chicken... shawarma, grilled chicken breast, or falafel with either the whole wheat pita or the laffa. The laffa is definitely the way togo. It?s made to order and it?s very soft and chewy. You can?t go wrong with either the chicken shawarma or chicken breast. Ilike to switch it up. The ingredients are so fresh that it doesn?t leave you feeling like a complete slob afterwards. When Ieat at other shawarma restaurants I feel disgusting afterwards. Me Va Me gets a 4/5 for their food. The customer service isalways above and beyond and is easily 5/5 but I rate solely on food. Read more
We have been getting food from Me Va Me Express on a weekly basis for many years. Apparently management has changed and so has... customer service. Surprising that new management has decided to get stingy with the sauces that used to come free (tahini andhot). They actually make it a point to make you feel like they are doing you a favour by providing one and only one - this issupposed to feed a family. Not quite sure how much money there is to be made/saved vs. losing long time customers. Hopeownership realizes this and changes the approach. Read more
