I couldn't be more satisfied. An exceptional service by Lily (the restaurant manager), the super savory foods and sides, a thick... and tasty yogurt drink, the very tender choices of kebabs and the craziest dishes: the eggplant-based Gilaki cuisines that blewmy mind with herbs and fresh garlic. Thanks for the fantastic service, fresh tanduri taftan and the varieties of drinks. Ihighly recommend this place to the customers with sufficient knowledge and experience in this type of food. I'm shocked thisrestaurant has 3.5 stars as of now. Customers need to know the authenticity of the Persian/Gilaki cuisines prior to ranking sucha restaurant. Read more
Great authentic flavours! With major competition in the area, North stands out to be one of the best in this... middle-eastern/persian cuisine! The ambiance is great, service is okay for the most part, but the food quality is superb! I?vebeen a frequent visitor for years, and they also do their own delivery for bigger orders. Read more
My wife and I had lunch at North Restaurant recently and I ordered a Kabab Koobideh which lacked taste and spice! My wife... ordered a Kabab Torsh with salad which the Kabab was good but she was served with a 3/4 empty plate and a skewer of Kabab and aplate of salad which lacked the proper serving plate combination and presentation. Service was mediocre and when you are payingyour bill, their payment machine gives you the option of 18%, 20% and 25% tip. I don't think the food and the service was worthmore than 12%! Read more
Visit Recommended. Persian food is amazing! You should try it out. This restaurant offers great options. The food is delicious... with sizeable portions. Value for your money. Every order was freshly prepared and tasted fresh also. The lamb I had wasperfectly flavoured and was very tender and still juicy. The spice and salt levels were balanced and it was just the perfecttaste with every bite. The overall service was really good Great Patio space also. Read more
Generally clean and decent food. I usually have kabobs and kabob Torah is nice but this time I ordered gheyme badenjan and I... wasn?t impressed. There comes a lot of rice with food so better option is to do half salad half rice with an extra $2 . Youstill get a big portion of rice but also get a good size salad. I got the lamb chops and it was okay. It was missing some flavour and it was hard to cut into it. I would have liked it softer.... Maybe 3 stars for that, but the ambiance raised my rating level! It also came with salad. We went there to celebrate Valentine?sDay and the place looks unique. This restaurant has a unique doll house theme and artificial trees throughout. This place isbig! Recently visited the North restaurant for a dinner. The restaurant has a special decoration and it feels comfy. We ordered... different food such as Vaziri ( Kabab and chicken), fish, sour kebab (Kabab Torsh), and special Kabab. The portion compared tothe price is expensive, but the quality is fair. I personally didn?t like the fish there, it didn?t have taste and it didn?tseems to be fresh. Don?t forget to mention how you would like to have your Kebab because we needed to ask our waiter to changethe kebabs onetime because it was almost raw. One funny thing, It seems that paying 18% tip is obligatory and I didn?t like thefact that they force clients for paying special amount of tip. Even on CN tower there is not such a rule! Happy camper! Love North restaurant They offer great and authentic persian food and has been operating in this location for... years. Unlike most Persian restaurants, North hasn't compromised the quality of their food. Great place to take a few guests toan evening out and introduce them to amazing Persian cuisine. Read more
