This review is for the dinner entrees haven't had the pizza in a while, although I recall it as being good. The apps and... entrees here at this long time, neighborhood place, are good and fulfill a niche in the restaurant space. The service is goodand the modest pricing must be taken into account. The meals themselves are good overall (but not better than that) in myopinion. Some dishes were very well liked, others more mediocre. Personally I prefer their chicken dishes, but you must likewhite meat, even the chicken cacciatore (traditionally served meat on the bone and including dark meat) is off the bone whitemeat. Silvio's goes above and beyond in quality, flavor, and service! I am very grateful for them preparing pizzas for a three hour... car drive. The pizza was "out of the oven" fresh. I've always tried to bring fresh pizza to my dispersed NY family, but neverhad results like this. It was a big hit! Read more

The food was wonderful. Everything was cooked to perfection. Our group had the chicken marsala (flavorful, covered in easily a... half-pound of mushrooms), the chicken parm (a standard in any Italian restaurant but well-made and tasty) and Linguine Forense(linguine covered with shrimp, olives, and capers with red sauce that was amazing and different from the usual). Even the saladwas great! The collection of bread choices was excellent and plentiful. The only thing that was better than the food was theservice. The waitress was pleasant, attentive to our needs, made suggestions to cost effectiveness (instead of individualsalads get a large one for the table, etc.), and even fancied up the desserts since we were celebrating two birthdays. I love the penne slices! I have been coming here since I was little, I no longer live in state, but any time I come home I HAVE... to stop in and get some. Any of their pizzas are delicious, and slices huge. Never disappointed. Read more

Bracciole special and Chicken/Sausage Scarparo were excellent and the portions were big. Very reasonable dinners.
