Usually don?t review but this one one of the worst pizzas I have ever ordered, super greasy, dough was flavourless and it tasted... like the cheese had gone off or something. I was planning on keeping a few slices for lunch the next day but 95% of the pizzaand wings went into the trash. Please learn from my mistake. Read more
Pizza is good prices aren't bad. The wings were good to although one time they were dry. They are also always late with my order... its very rare you are not waiting when you go to pick up . Staff seems unorganized. Read more
I loved volcano pizza until last night. It was my 60th birthday so I ordered pizza 1st there was no delivery and when we got it... home it looked like a 5 year old had made it crust was so thin on one side you couldn't even pick it up and so thick on theother it was horrible there was hardly any cheese and the toppings were just thrown in one spot. Very disappointed! Will be along time before I try again! Read more
We ordered a half cheese half bacon pep pizza last night. We got home and it looks like someone used an old pizza. Absolutely... disgusting. We called and told them and they said they couldn't do anything about it. Excuse me? You blantlantly ignored myorder and then sent me home with a pizza that was clearly fiddles with after baking. Steak subs had I thin slice of meat on one side and that?s it! the rest was over veggies and mostly red peppers. Couldn?t find... any cheese either. Most disgusting steak-subs ever and it was 13.99 plus a pizza slice (not bad) special and forgot the pop. Last week wings, blue cheese & forgot the carrot or celery (said it was in the bag). Never again! Totally disgusting steak subwith no steak, cheese, burnt vegetables & overload of red peppers! Someone needs to train the guy working there! The lady makesthe best subs! How does on mess up a pepperoni pizza, went in there today and ordered 2 large pepperoni pizza's got home and one was chicken... something. The staff there need to stop chit chatting and goofing off because nobody is around to monitor them and realize its ajob. Far too many cooks in the kitchen that are just standing around. Owner needs to look at his staff and make some changes. Iworked in the culinary industry for many years, and this place is about as bad as it gets. However the one pizza that was right,tasted great. It is my expectations that a good pizzeria always has a good steak sub. Unfortunately this was not the case with Volcano's... Pizzeria in Thorold. It was more of a green pepper sub than anything. I've ordered take-out from Volcano's 3 different times,and they always say a 30 minute wait time on the phone. When I get there to pick up my order I end up waiting for another 15minutes inside the shop, it was frustrating each time. However, the pizza is actually pretty decent, especially the sauce onthe pie, but Because of the wait time and the poor steak subs, my go-to pizzeria in Thorold is Papa Vince Pizza. Cheers! Read more
I walked in for a slice and the pizza I thought was pretty good. I liked the sauce and how much sauce was on my slice. I decided... to order pizza that evening and it was just drowning in grease and oil, almost inedible. A completely different experience tothat slice I had, which was admittedly quite good. On another visit, I popped in around closing, just to get a can of soda, andstaff were very pushy in trying to sell me end-of-the-night pizza. They kept saying it was going to the garbage and insisted Ibuy it instead. Had to say no several times. Why even try to sell pizza you admit is moments away from being garbage worthy? Ihave to give two stars because that one slice I had was actually a solid slice. It's a shame that experience couldn't have beenreplicated on subsequent visits. Read more
