Took my out of town family to eat as I've always had great experiences with this restaurant before. Party of 7 with... reservations. Waitress, very friendly, took our order immediately at 7:30 p.m. We didn't get our food until a little before 9p.m. (including another cheese curd appetizer we ordered almost an hour earlier)! Food wasn't ready for our table at the sametime. One person got fish, no coleslaw or fries. She then got the slaw but fries still had to be cooked. She finished eating herfish and the fries finally came out. One person had to wait much longer for his bluegill after everyone else was served at ourtable (including two of us who got our bluegill) and his fish wasn't even cooked on the inside! Since everyone else was alreadywell into their meals, he didn't want to wait for new fish to be cooked so he never got a full meal. Worst part about this -several other tables came in AFTER us, were served their meals, paid and left BEFORE we got our food. We were the only peopleleft in the dining room shortly after we started eating. Felt like nobody cared about our order and nobody checked with thekitchen to remind them they were serving everyone else but us and the cook didn't put the food together right. My family was sodisappointed and I was embarrassed for bringing them in after promising them they would have awesome food and an awesomeexperience. Read more
Enjoyed our main courses. Great wait staff and bartender. Will go back next time we travel through the area.
10/10 The food has ALWAYS been phenomenal. The old bartender Molly came back after a few years and it was long overdue! Not... only does she offer a pretty smile. But excellent drinks, great conversation and superb service. Between the food. Bs'ing andphenomenal service. I continue to return. The bartender is always great! Great little BBQ joint, enjoyed some fantastic sandwiches there!!! My wife is gluten free and they took great care in making... sure the food was prepared in a safe way for her to eat! The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure wehad all our questions answered and had a good time. Had family north woods feel to the place that we quite enjoyed. We started with a blooming onion which was so delicious that we were full by the time the meal arrived. The table does not show... everything we received in the meal. We got the Mesquite Skillet which feeds 2-3, but I'd say 3-4. The food was delicious, thestaff wore masks in and the restrooms were clean. Highly recommend!. Read more
Absolutely love Mesquite! I am never disappointed. The Lobster ravioli is to die for.... All of there food is amazing!
