We had a wonderful dinner last Thursday and I can't stop thinking about it. The chicken marsala was Fabulous as was the apple... Gornzola salad. Our server Amanda was a delight. It was a pleasure to see all of the people who work there smiling and happy. Read more

A wonderful Italian food experience. Good selection of tasty Italian dishes. The walls are filled with antique photos of... different people from various landscapes of life. The dishes are huge portions meant to be shared. Their "small" plate can feed3 and a large can go up to 5. So keep that in mind when ordering dishes. Read more

Revising my review here [was originally 5 stars] because I came back again and wasn't nearly as good.. The service was pretty... bad. Waiter disappeared for 20 mins at a time, and it wasn't even busy. Got to the point where I had to ask other employees formy waiter lol. Food was mostly good... until we got to dessert. Got tiramisu. Now I'm not a picky eater but this was honestlypretty bad. Very dry and doughy, undercooked. Felt like a bunch of layers of undercooked pasta. And it costs $18 so wasexpecting better. Anyways. Lots of food here is still good. Carbonara and pizza was good. But this was a big turn off. Originalreview below. Kinda sucks since I liked the place. Not super classy amazing Italian food, but simple tasty hearty Italian foodthat reminded me of how momma makes it. And I think honestly that makes it just as good. Also the drinks were very good, littlepricy for the amount you get ($15 for a half cup drink with a huge cube of ice)... tasted fantastic though. Gave it a 5, butwould do 4.5 if I could. Read more

Great service. A 4 star simply because they took about 15 minutes for a waiter to come by our table. However, when I brought it... to their attention, they were nothing more then nice. I will continue to dine at this location. Read more

The food is “ok”— not the best flavors I’ve had- in regards to pasta. The garlic bread was good- but can’t compete... with Garlic Knots from some of the other fantastic Italian eateries. The Apple ???? Gorgonzola salad was unique but again, lacked flavor- just had a flat taste. The pasta carbonara was filled with way too much plastic tasting meat. The service wasexceptional. It was my moms first time in a restaurant since Covid- and I understand the economy is struggling especially herein california- so I commend them for having an attentive and exemplary staff who were above and beyond gracious and kind withtheir service/ so from That perspective Bucas gets a five star! ??
