I hate to give this place one star because at least the person taking my order was nice. The pork sandwich I got was $18 (which... I already thought was too much but figured I?d try it anyway, then they charged extra for my credit card so my total was nearly$20 for a single pork sandwich.. no sides no drink. Honestly it wasn?t terrible but literally a one minute drive down the streetyou can go to mouthful eatery (also Peruvian food) and for $6 less you can get a better pork sandwich with more meat and moreflavor. Not a terrible sandwich just ridiculously overpriced. Read more

I had the chicken and I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture of my food. It was delicious. The owner Ruben was very nice and... helpful. I'm sure if you had a problem he would help you. Read more

I am born and raised in Peru and the food is not good at all. The price is not worth at all. Also poor customer service. I went... with my family and my son who has autism was having a hard time and they started talking about us and even said to sit our kidin the high chair. We were been looked at in a bad way our whole meal. It was my third and last time there. Since the first timewhen I went alone it was just off. Read more

Eatery-style joint, you order at the counter and they bring the food out to your table. Food is good but lacks any oomph. Lots... of variety. The plates are very basic and provide no garnish or effort on presentation. Portions are decent and satisfying.Slightly overpriced for what it is. They also charge for side sauces which I don't care for. Easy street parking and smalladjacent lot, but also some traffic noise if you're sitting outside. 3 stars for an overall average experience. We visited Limeña Peruvian Eatery after we craved or favorite Peruvian dish, and our usual Peruvian place in Moorpark has... become flaky with their hours and availability. We were not disappointed! We ordered 2 of the Tallarín Saltado de Veggie and aquinoa vegetable stir fry for my 4-year-old. Everything was delicious! The tallarín dishes had linguini noodles tossed withlarge Peruvian corn, peas, carrots, and large wedges of Roma tomatoes and red onion. All the veggies were cooked al dente. Itall made for a flavorful and light broth. They came with sides of spicy ???? Peruvian pesto sauce, which was delicious! My sonenjoyed his quinoa stir fry. I tried it, and really liked it. They didn't have a kids menu, but this was a healthier optionanyway. I highly recommend a visit to Limeña! Read more

I give three stars one for the service which is excellent, one for the interior which is nice, and then one for the food. It's... so so but very overpriced. My husband liked his limeña sandwich but said it really wasn't worth $15. I also didn't think myplate was worth $18 it was the lomo saltado. It was really okay but it tasted too much like soy sauce. The white rice was goodwhenever they cook it in or season it with has a nice garlicky type flavor. The Peruvian cookies for dessert were very nice morelike a soft biscuit with a special filling. It was good to try once but sadly I don't think we will be back, it's just not worthit for us. Read more
