There used to be a good PS in Newbury Park... it's long gone. Two in Simi... long gone. So the Conejo is down to this location.... Last night part of our order included Noodles, House Chicken and House Beef. Noodles: tasted/smelled strange after the first fewbites could not eat more. I'm tempted to say a hint of sour taste. Could not eat more. It's hard to screw up noodles. HouseChicken: Third fork, it's a big chunk of cartilage. Unacceptable. House Beef: Chewy, tough and stringy, slightly powdery intexture. Repulsive. I will never eat at PS again. Oh yeah the rice was stodgy, clumpy, dry and overcooked. It's hard to screw uprice. This outfit on the side of their food cartons has a slogan claiming they have "...a passion for perfection.". It's just aslogan. Got to love when you get 4 items and you pick up a sealed bag then get home to find out there are 2 items missing. Seriously how... lazy are you when you can't even put correct items in a bag. I have been going to Stix for years and love the food. Today the food was enedible. The house chicken was grisley and stringy.... I asked for all white meat and it appeared and tasted like dark meat. The beef dish was tough and the noodles were greasy I brought it back to mario and he was so rude and argued with me. I won't be going back. Read more
The online ordering service here is atrocious. I've come here for sit down dinners a lot and never had much issues. I've also... been to a lot of pick up stix and ordered online. So I think it's safe to say that the service I had with, and others had byother reviews, the mobile ordering at this store was bad. Took about 10 minutes to get the food that was done at 6pm. Althoughmy food was done the entire time I was inside, it was impossible to get the staffs attention to get the food. I made eye contactwith multiple staff while I was standing at the counter. Eventually I noticed that got the food, but turns out they messed up myorder and gave me the wrong food, but after I got home. I wouldn't recommend anyone use the online ordering at this store. Itwould probably be quicker to just order in store and wait for it. Read more
I've been to this place twice and twice I order online to a specific time frame and it doesn't matter. Because, the food isn't... ready. I see no point, and I might as well stand in line and wait. The employees were nice so I give them that but there's noexcuse. Sometimes you just want what you're paying for and I rate this place for the performance 2 stars. Food is good tho!! Read more
Awful service and not happy with the food. We arrived during a slow period and the people ahead of us let us go because they had... a large order. We ordered 2 apps and a chicken entree. 20 min later - no food for us however the large order behind us - theywere enjoying their dinner. After asking 3 times for our food, the person who appeared to be the mgr tells us that our orderneeded more time than the large order - huh? So we waited another 10 minutes. Now the restaurant has a line. We asked again forour food. This mgr type person tells us that the delay is because they are busy - huh? Why not just be honest and tell us thatyou forgot our order until we asked at the 20 min mark. Own your mistake. It makes it worse to provide the customer will aridiculous response! To add insult to injury, when we finally received our 2 apps and 1 chicken entree, they tasted so salty tous we ended up throwing away most of the food. A bowl of nothing but salt would have tasted better to us. This was ourexperience and we hope that others don't have the same. It has been several years since I have been to a Pick Up Stix. There was a 25-30 min wait (which they had informed us prior to... ordering), but food was hot, fresh, and well portioned. Menu could use some updating to reflect options (white rice, brownrice, AND noodles) Read more
