I usually pick up my groceries here and I like it except that they run out of certain items real quick such as Lactaid Lactose... and some energy drink. Oh one of the cashiers is always so unhappy by default ?Jody?. You see her name tag just switch toanother cashier?s so you will be fine. Overall good place to find what u need ???? Read more

Bad place to work. 2 managers got to go. I?ve been yelled at by the senior manager in front of customers, the store manager is... breaking the policy thinking he can make his own rules. The store manager even picks on disabled employees. The senior managerbullies new hire. It?s funny how the district manager doesn?t ask any employees why is everyone quitting. I put up with them for4 years. Now I?m working at a better place with more pay and respect. Worked for 6 years and no raise just getting paid $15.40an hour. The company is so ridiculous how they pay. NOT disinfecting carts or checkouts. When I asked for disinfecting sheets or spray they don't provide giving flimsy... excuses. Wearing a mask helps but just as important is providing sanitizing foam , sheets , sprayed carts. If they did thatwould shop there. So people do your part and complain. Read more

I've reviewed this location before during covid-19 lockdown but because the store and it's employee Jasmine deserve another... shout out I'm going to do it again. Yes there are shortages out there but I did not find that to be the case. Shelves were fulland meat was plentiful. The only complaint I had was the large box of Spring salad mix was expiring rapidly but that's not thestores problem. It's clean, lines are fast and Jasmine was very helpful when I purchased my turkey making sure I did get the onethat was on sale... So yes 5 stars!!! Read more

When I went there, I literally stood in line with no one ahead of me while the cashier talked to another patron for about 15... minutes. I like the cheaper process on bulk items, but not happy with the customer service by the cashiers. I felt like I wasintruding in her private conversation when I went to check out. Items are standard , name brand items but in bulk and cheaper. Not my favorite place to food shop. Read more

I went to the Newbury Park location yesterday with my young daughter. We did not have masks but are completely healthy and just... need a couple of food items. I had the items in my hand and was at the checkout line when a manager confronted us and statedthat we are NOT allowed to buy anything because we were not wearing masks. I said that I do not wear masks as I have a phobiaabout them from my military history. He then instructed the cashiers to refuse to ring up my items. He called the police to haveme removed. I stood patiently at the one register and stated that I was not leaving until I was allowed to pay for my food. Theemployee said that it was no big deal and he would do so except the manager was a big problem for them. The manager came to meand attempted to forcibly remove the items from my hands. I resisted and he pushed me back with one hand while pulling away theitems. He threw the items and damaged them. I later have been advised that since I am a senior citizen that is legallyconsidered assault with jail time for him should I report it further. I asked him for his name and he turned his back to me. Iasked to see his nametag and he took it off and put it in his pocket. I took photos of him with my phone. From the glimpse thatI saw it looks like his name was David. The police arrived shortly and were very pleasant. The main officer advised that thestore is claiming to be a private operation and not selling to the general public. He advised me to sue them civilly. The werein violation of discrimination of me based on the the way I was dressed and/or my appearance. They posted a sign saying to thateffect. There is NO law requiring any mask to worn. I asked if They had a sign posted saying "No Mexicans" would that make itacceptable to discriminate against them also? We went to Ralphs and the Vons afterward from there. All that we encountered was amuch cleaner and well lit store with very friendly people and no criticisms at all. The manager at th Read more
