Had our dinner yesterday while we were passing through town & what a delight! we ordered cauliflower pakoras, "fish" tacos and... the BBQ burger- everything was fresh and oh so tasty. I've never had such light pakoras in my life- and I am from SE asia. Sodelighted to find this little vegan gem in Thunderbay. Will definitely visit anytime we are in the area. If you have just 1 mealto eat in Thunderbay- goto Bonobo's ; you will not be disappointed. Read more

Enjoyed the vegetarian and vegan options at Bonobo's! I got the BBQ chick'n and spicy poutine. The spicy poutine was delicious... and had the perfect kick! The BBQ chick'n sandwich had delicious sauces on it and the bun was great. The tomato and lettuce onit were very fresh. Everything is served on real plates when you dine in and with metal silverware. The interior of this place have a classic rock vibe. This place serves vegan and vegetarian options. We ordered a Veggie Burger,... Spicy Poutine and Cauliflower Pakoras. The Burger was amazing. The patty was made up of seeds, nuts and chickpeas. You could getseeds and nuts in each bite and the flavours were so fresh and different. Definitely not the regular tasting burger. Infact amuch better, healthier and tastier version of burger. Because of the seeds and nuts, it kind of fills you up pretty quick. Weenjoyed our all the 3 dishes. The staff is friendly too! I had the sweet salad from Bonobo?s today, and I swear if I was in a bad mood, that salad would have cheered me up. It was like... I was eating pure joy or something. I?m a huge fan of eating meat, but I am trying to make a few changes in my eating habits tocut down the amount of meat that I consume in a week. I have been scouring the city and the internet for tasty and fillingsalads, and let me tell ya, the Sweet Salad is a winner. Fantastic friendly service and I will be going back to try more optionslater. I don?t know if I would ever be 100% vegan or vegetarian.
