Dinner for five. Delicious, all fresh vegetables, chicken in various dishes cooked to perfection. Had neighbors from Tehran for... supper and the grandmother seriously enjoyed the meal. ***UPDATE*** I want to give props where they are due. Almost immediately after I posted my review of my disappointment at our... meal, a representative from Ling Lees called to apologize for our experience. She explained about the spice in the egg rollsand also advised that they've been having difficulty getting their regular noodles through their supplier (which isunderstandable at these times when supply chains are being disrupted everywhere). Not only did she apologize, but she refundedour money, which was super cool of her. So THANK YOU Ling Lees for the great customer service and for taking these steps torectify a situation and ensure customer satisfaction. A lot of places would not have done the same. So kudos to you. *** Ithas been some years since I've eaten Ling Lees Chinese food so I was excited with anticipation when we placed our lunch ordertoday. Because it was lunch, we went light - just egg rolls and consomme soup - but we were really looking forward to it. Ican't express how disappointed we were when we dug in with our first bites. The egg rolls had a weird taste to them, like therewas too much of a certain spice used. I'm not really sure what it was but it was the most awful egg roll I have ever eaten. Wetook a couple more bites hoping maybe it would get better, but it did not. So on to the soup. I LOVE the usual consomme soupnoodles that come in the little white paper bags. I don't know what they are called or what they are made from, but I havenever had consomme soup that didn't come with that little white bag of noodles. Until now that is. The noodles that came withthis soup were small and thin and were a yellow-y colour. They were not the noodles I was looking forward to, but worse thanthat, they tasted awful. They didn't really soften up in the soup and they got a pasty type feel to them as they sat in thesoup. I woke up craving Chinese and ordered Ling Lee's for the first time just to switch it up from the usual and it was amazing! The... BBQ Pork Lo Mein is smoky and delicious, and the S&S Shrimp are crispy and the batter melts in your mouth. This may become my #1Chinese spot in town! P.S. Parking is limited at the new location so if you're there at a busy time you may have to park aroundthe corner or across the street at Shell. Read more

God knows I have had a lot of Chinese cuisine in my life, just look at my belly (that's a review for another time lol). Ordered... delivery for my parents and I for dinner. I have to say this was the most fresh, delicious Chinese food I have ever had....barnone. It was delicious from the time I opened the box. I?ve tried a few Chinese places in Thunder Bay now, specifically trying to find a good Cantonese style chow mein soft noodle... because that?s what I always ordered in Toronto. This is the only place that actually does it the same way! They also includedmuch more shrimp than usual which was a pleasant surprise! I will say it was a bit salty but I?m hoping that was a one off.Since everything else was literally perfect it won?t deter me from returning. All the other food we got was hot and fresh aswell! Amazing chicken balls, beef and veg, fried rice, & chicken wings!! Seriously, I loved them all! ???? It was also my firsttime trying bon bon ribs and I thought they were pretty good!
