The restaurant was okay but they used scotch tape to tape the menus to the table which felt unsanitary. The cabins were a... nightmare to stay in. DO NOT STAY AT THE CABINS. There are dead bugs everywhere and there was no heat coming from the furnace atall. The first night I got there it was snowing so I slept in the car to avoid freezing to death. During the day I had to turnthe oven on and blast hot water to not freeze to death. I didn't dnt shower at all during my stay because with my hair wet,there was no way I would be able to warm back up again. 0/10. Do not recommend. Read more
If you are in Thunder bay area and you are hungry, you must stop here. Terrific food, wonderful service and friendly people.... Large portions, lot's of choices and good prices. Definitely need to try the Finnish pancakes ???? ????. I will definitely beback. Read more

Stopped here for breakfast on our way through Thunder Bay. The service is stellar. So friendly and accommodating. The owner gave... us a sample Finn pancake she nice we weren?t so re what they were like. Delicious!! Eggs Benny was great too. Highly recommendcoming here to eat. Read more

We were fortunate enough to come by Sweet G's while passing through Thunder Bay. Let me tell you this is a gem. By 8am there is... a lineup out both the front and back door on Saturday morning. Ford the founder and host is exactly as the name states. Theserving staff are full of smiles and chipper - even first thing in the morning. Coffee was great, the food was exactly whatyou'd expect from good home cooking. The staff said we should try a Finnish pancake but we ordered eggs and bacon, so she gaveus a small sample of the Finnish pancakes anyway :) Felt quite lucky to come across this spot just by chance. (Behind sweet G'sis Gorda home and he has a few cabins as bed and breakfast - the breakfast is free if you stay a night in the cabins). Read more
My sister and I went Saturday morning for breakfast, we got our drinks right away but no one took our order. We waited and... other tables got thier food. We did flag down a very busy waitress and she got put food to us so fast. We really didn't mindwaiting as we were enjoying each other's company and knew they were busy. Our waitress would not take any money no matter howhard I tried to pay her. She just said make sure to come back again. Of course we will, we have been in her shoes, we bothunderstood how she was feeling. Amazing service and food, we will be back again and again! Read more
