Good food for the price. Friendly staff. Not a big place but you can usually get a table without a wait. They always have... specials posted on their white board. Frequented heavily by the locals ???? Read more

Very friendly people. Good prices. Great food. Besides the 30+ min wait it was worth it. Will definitely be back!

My sister insisted I have lunch with her at this place . She's a real country gal that enjoys good food cooked right, nothing... fancy. This place fit the bill . It is a small town country diner type restaurant with a small good ole bar. The best dangFrench fries I ever tasted, no kidding . And, yeah, I had a gin and tonic in the afternoon with my hamburger and fries. Theyhave yummy specials too, not just a burger joint. I love this place , I felt like Andy Griffith from Mayberry might stop in, ithas that kind of atmosphere. No frills, just good home cooking and excellent friendly service. It's also the kind of place Iwould actually feel comfortable eating alone , my sister does when she is down that way. I definitely will stop in again, especially for those yummy french fries. We asked the Liberty attendant a good place to eat. He recommended Bollingers and we were not disappointed. The service and... food was top notch. Sara recommended the Cuban sandwich and I was very pleased my husband had fish and chips and loved it. Theservings are ample. The cook ( maybe the owner) was pleasant and thanked us for Stopping. I would recommend this little smallhometown business Read more

Bollingers is a special place in the heart of town. Josh has done a great job funding a family restaurant. The branding for his... BBQ lineup is uncle dirty's barbacue (udb). The flavors are bold an unique. Today I had theor rendition of a cuban sandwich. Thesauce was amazing. The sweet potato fries were on the money. For those who don't like family owned businesses or flavor, turnaway. Personally I love this little place. Highly recommended. Read more

Dropped in for lunch and ordered the 8oz pulled pork sandwich with fries and a side of coleslaw. Fries were very good. Large... meaty sandwich with a great bun but all I could taste was smoke. It even overpowered the vinegar based bbq sauce. Coleslaw cameout in a tiny 2oz cup. Seriously 2 oz! Two bites and it was gone. Wife had a cheeseburger which she said was good. Service wasminimal, took our order, and brought the food out. Staff never checked on us nor refilled our drinks, then we had to ask for thecheck which included a $1.25 fee for using a credit card. Total bill was $32 for two lunches... about average for the area. Read more

Such a Diamond in the rough! Found this place on our way back from Ski Liberty. The food is aaaamazing and the staff is... extremely pleasant. Southern hospitality is def represented here. They even denied me the ribs because they said it was stillbeing smoked for the next day. Actually don?t come here I don?t wanna wait in line Read more

Was up in Thurmont for a little business and needed lunch. Pulled into Bollinger's, walked in, very homey relaxed... atmosphere. Menu has so many options everyone will find something to enjoy. Specials this day included chicken livers, andoysters both with sides for a complete meal. I decided on a burger, the J.B. (picture below) which came with the BBQ sauce, andI chose side of fries. The BBQ sauce was so good on the burger I asked the server for a small cup of sauce to dip the fries in.Speaking of which the fries were perfectly crisp outside and tender inside. The burger, ordered as medium rare, was servedperfectly medium rare. Given the burger is smushed thin, to cook it so perfectly takes real skill, kudos to the cooks! Menuincluded any number of beverages, including a good selection of craft beer. I tell ya, next time I am in town, I will eat hereagain and need to get a bottle of that Uncle Dirty's Barbecue sauce to take home. (Note the branding in the bun) Read more
