Great roadside stop for American pub fare. Pork tenderloin sandwich was great, service attentive.
Elyse took great care of the three of us. Two of us had the Thursday steak special. All I can say is that it kicked (#^@^$&$).... It was perfect. Way better than Applebee's. My son had a Cheese burger and it disappeared. He loves Bryant's. The kitchen staffdid a great job. All aside a great place and local Iowa Treasure. Eat local. Read more
It's not often I say my service was excellent, but today I can say that! Best service I've had in a VERY long time! It's nice to... have someone wait on you thats shows they like the line of work their in and appreciates their job. Greeted and brought menuswithin seconds. Drinks in 2 mins. Food in 15 mins. Checked on us in-between and drinks were never empty. ????great job Read more
Food is always good with sandwich rolls, burgers and specials. No disappointments there. They never seem to have coffee, not... sure why. It's there, but not made. Only iced tea, no hot tea. It's a quiet, cozy atmosphere with usually good service. They dohave have a decent bar. Would gladly give 5 stars if service was more attentive (too long a wait for the bill on a slow day),and if they would add some simple touches expected at a mid-range, diner/grill type of restaurant. I am from the Seattle area,and in the area on business.A group of us was taken here by a local,and we were not disappointed!!!... We all had the pork loin sandwich (a Iowa staple). Four of us had it deep fried. IT WAS BEYOND GOOD! Great flavor and a hugeportion! The place is nice and clean on the inside,and outstanding service! If I am ever back in the area again I will stop herefor sure! If you are reading this I suggest that you take the time to dine here !!! Read more
I have been to the old Throttledown Bar Since I was in college 8-10 years ago and after the game last Saturday my dad and I... stopped there again, knowing it has a different name and owner now. 30 min go by, no one spoke to us. When a server finally cameto our table, the bar was at 1/3 capacity and they informed us they were 1 hour out on food time.. So we came to Bryant's andthis will now be our go to stop! Food was very good "bar food", but it was the service starting with both females that wereserving at that time of night. Both said hello to us before we could even seat ourselves. They both worked as a team, were ontop of refilling drinks before they were empty and making sure our meal met our standards. After being in the service industryalmost a decade myself, the little things it takes for exceptional quality service is found within Bryant's and their staff!Can't wait to bring more of the family next trip.
