I'm Italian and i was looking for a pizza. I can confirm that the their pizza Is really good and the dough Is good as some... rustic pizzerias in Italy...or better. I can say this because the bread was estremely soft insider and cruncky esternallywithout the Classic taste of yeast. I would suggest to add a Little more salt into the bread and transform It into a "focacciacon cipolla " /onion focaccia...I don't know tastes of the people of Tiffin, but I would have breakfast with that focaccia! Got a ?foldover? and looked good but after taking bites till I got to just dough there was a lot left over. Barely anything in... it. Tasted average and really don?t have complaints there but I paid $14 for dough. Read more

Date: 4/23 (Saturday) Time:9:30 P.M. Oh, this one was a drop in for the sake of nostalgia. Reino's is a Tiffin institution, and... has seen many relocations over the years. When a pizza joint started in the 50s and is still in business and serving up theoriginal recipes some 70 years later, that should tell you all you need to know. I used to go to Reino's in the late 70s withmy dad, and, having recently moved back to the area, was longing to see it as I said, for nostalgia's sake. Well..... just asyou and I don't look like we did 40 years ago, neither does Reino's. It's no longer a relatively sparse, sort of charminglyneglected, red-checked tablecloth place that I knew - and for a few seconds my heart was sad. But we were quickly welcomed andhad a seat at the bar. There were a few locals seated by us, good for easy conversation, and I learned that the original owner'sgrandson is now in charge -- again, that says something. I talked to him briefly, giving him another story of his grandfather toadd to the many he said he'd heard. We ordered a 2 item medium pizza, and it took probably 30 minutes to arrive more or less. Icould tell right away it was real mozzarella and not the weird combo cheese. The sauce had a bit of sweetness to it, not toochunky not too smooth, and the toppings were adequate although I prefer heavily topped so that's just a subjective issue. Thecrust and general texture of the pizza is "doughy", which I like. If you're looking for a thin, cracker crust or fancy glutenfree cauliflower stuff, this isn't it. Next time I might ask them to bake it just a bit longer, but only because I do like thecrust to actually have some greater degree of hardness to support the pie, you know? But the flavor was great - again theauthentic sauce and cheese made a huge difference. It was a family recipe, history, love and yes, nostalgia. Reinos is a small restaurant with a bar. They offer a buffet during certain hours on certain days. We ordered garlic bread and a... BLT foldover. The food was fast, delicious and so filling. Our other guests ordered the buffet and said it was great and a goodvariety. There was more pasta on the bar than pizza. Our waiter Joseph was so kind and efficient. This is located on a one waystreet so please keep that in mind, there is a public parking lot down the alley for easy access. We will definitely bereturning. Read more
