Applebee's is Applebee's , just classic American faire......however, this particular location was severely understaffed, such... that the food was cold when it arrived and there was a wait to get the check as the staff was trying to accommodate new arrivalsand no one was available to checkout patrons who had completed their meal. In our particular party the kitchen notified onemember that they were out of a menu selection about 20 minutes into the wait, which meant that everyone's food arrived exceptthat person's and no one acknowledged the wrong or even offered to discount or comp that particular meal. It wasunfortunate......Applebee's offers a nice menu but when staffing is critically short the menu doesn't offset cold food, emptyglasses and indifference......there are issues with staffing and customer care at this location......be aware. I called a day ahead of time due to knowing that we were going to have a big party. They told me to be there by 630 and they... would be expecting us. When we got there the day of they didn't have any table to sit our party and didn't have a clue how longit would be before they could sit us. They were very unprofessional and when I told the host how many people we had her mouthdropped to the floor and her eyes got really big. We ended up leaving due to us already waiting for 30 minutes and didn't knowhow much longer it would be before we could be sat. They were not busy at all and was just very unprofessional. Read more
Steak was way over done when husband asked for medium rare, got another steak that smelled bad and looked slimy so my husband... barely ate dinner. Thinking they probably boiled frozen steaks. The other food wasn't good quality either. Had to ask forsilverware and straws. The bathrooms toilet paper holder was half off. Giving two stars for friendliness, a refund on the steak,and for them giving my son a small brownie with ice cream for his birthday. Read more
This Applebee's was not like other Applebee's. Plastic ware was used instead of silverware. A customer had to use his pocket... knife to cut his bourbon street steak. No coffee was served because the coffee maker was broken. We were eating with plasticware. Many of the dishes did not have the ingredients listed like strawberries. Ordered a side dish of onion rings and receivedonly 3 and were told there should have been more. No discounts on the items we ordered due to lack of food items. Wait time forservice was 25 minutes and for food was another 25 minutes. Find another Applebee's in Tifton Georgia to eat at. A lot ofpeople were walking out on a Saturday night. Read more
This visit was by far the worst. My food was awful, I asked for a medium temperature steak it was cooked to beyond well done,... loaded garlic mash potatoes was sub-par I paid for sour cream as part of the loaded mash but they gave me a container ofmayonnaise instead. I thought the meal I ordered was supposed to have two sides I only received one. This is why I rarely dineat Applebee's I thought maybe if I went in the daytime I'd have a better experience but this was the worst. I give it a tryatleast once a year and always remember why it's only the one try a year. Read more
We were visiting from out of town and went here for dinner. Here are a few things that stood out. It wasn't very clean, and... one of our party went to use the restroom and said to wait until we get back to our hotel because it was disgusting. Ourwaitress rushed us to place our order because they were too busy, however it wasn't packed. Our waitress kept apologizing, butalso said she was so busy. I've been there and understand the busyness of food service and that she was doing the best that shecould. There were drink refills brought out later in the meal and our waitress sniffed one of them to see what it was. Wecouldn't eat the steak we ordered because it tasted like someone held it up to a lighter to cook it. We didn't say anythingbecause we just wanted to get out of there. So, if you are in this area, find somewhere else. The $100 bill wasn't worth it. Read more
One of the nicest Applebee's I've been to. From the great food to the waitress to the bartender they are all top notch. Whether... you live in the Tifton area or are just traveling through I would suggest you stop by and tell them I sent you. Read more
Slow service. Not enough costomet courtesy ... Server was new and did the best she could.... Will be a great server in the... future......restaurant allows non service animals during happy hour on the inside... Per Applebee's rule service animals are nonservice animals are only allowed on the terrance..... Read more
